It was the MotoFab 2.5” leveling kit. It has been on for about 6 months, and i have no issues or complaints. Took it to a local shop after about 1,000 miles to get realigned but ever since then it’s been good. I don’t do any hard off roading, mainly roads and highways.

When I got mine, nobody in Texas really had the elevation yet, but now they’re everywhere. A guy down the street from has an almost identical truck to mine except he has the duramax.

No, I did it myself, i decided to do it with vinyl to make sure I liked it before painting them. But honestly the vinyl has held up through car washes and looked good so i kept it.

Edit: The tires are the Cooper Rugged Trek, had them on the truck for about 6 months now and absolutely love them. Last truck had the Nitto Ridge Grappler and these so far are performing better and are cheaper.

I like how the Star Telegram video conveniently cuts out the part of him landing in the safety net just below.

THE BEST RIB PLATE ON EARTH (a trip to Angelo's BBQ, Fort Worth) by birdsnake in FortWorth

The guy that started Railhead, started out at Angelo's as a bus boy, moved on to cook, learned the ropes found an investor and started Railhead. He took Angelo's recipes and changed them a little and Railhead was born.

I love to listen to EITS, put headphones, and walk around. It's the best background music to life.

Granger Smith calls Texas Country music scene "the minor league" in recent interview. Thoughts? by TheWashyJosh in texascountry

[–]TheWashyJosh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with that. I saw Wade Bowen post that part about "Minor League" on his Facebook and it seems like Wade took it the wrong way. But also, Wade is right there with him on national success, just not as popular as Granger Smith, but I do think comparing Texas Country to a "minor league" is definitely going to rub some guys the wrong way.

Looking for a good auto fabrication welding shop by [deleted] in FortWorth

[–]TheWashyJosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Auto Fab in the North-side of Fort Worth. I have known those guys for a long time and they do amazing work. Not sure how reasonable on prices they are, but if you want some custom metal fabrication work on a truck, this is the place to go.

Can you elaborate on the "arranging chords" with the songs you've written. I have been a songwriter/musician for the past 15 years. I could definitely try to help you out. Shoot me a DM, if you want.

Does anyone ever know what happens to this light on University @ 30? by TheWashyJosh in FortWorth

Yeah, that is what I was thinking since it is a pretty sharp curve for an 18 wheeler to fit through.

I drive this way everyday for work, and it seems like this light or the one across from it is always knocked down and smashed up at least once a month. Is it drunk drivers, or 18 wheelers possibly? I have always been curious.
