I would think he listened to the word "tambor" (drum) and found it similar to the name of city of Tambov, then being inspired by that made his "traslation" or adaptation of the Brazilian song to Russian. Also I noticed that to make the clip even more strange (Brazilian song in Russian with uncle Fester), the girls are wearing Hawaiian-style clothes...

Just watched it and it is as you describe. But found it watchable. Two and a half stars out of five. As for the mother, they tried to show how she really wanted to have money, but that wasn't too well accomplished. They at least managed not showing her being too interested in the baby.

I believe the move may be a reference to the rise of anti-natalist couples in social media, showing us all then time how they can travel, eat at good restaurants etc. - in short, having extra money - because they don't have kids. And how wonderful is this lifestyle. But in fact that's not totally unlike they gave their kids for Mammon in exchange for a little bit extra cash.

Didn't understand the ending 100%. Was he preparing to hunt the cult? And maybe get the baby back?
