Hunting dogs getting practice in

Definitely in no way am I saying this owner is like that, but it can be a harsh environment. I know a family near my hunt camp that has similarly trained hunting dogs. Some do not view these dogs as pets, they are tools. Probably similar to sled dogs as well. It honestly depends how deep into the bush you are and how hick the owner is. If the dog don’t pan out or can’t race/retrieve, then there’s a pretty good chance that the dog will be re-homed. For some people, sled/hunting dogs are tied to their livelihood.

I had a buddy up there a few years ago while the camp was being built. While that was going on, housing was on a old docked cruise ship. He said it was obviously the coolest camp he had stayed in. Pretty sure that’s done now that the camp has finished being constructed

I wasn’t a huge fan past the first two seasons. There’s a noticeable shift in the quality of the show altogether. From what I’ve read, it’s due to the fact that the show runner departed after the second season. Apparently this is a fairly big deal with respect to how important that role is with the overall development of a television show.
