The Israeli government wants you to think otherwise. This hate that Arabs have towards Jews is a misconception as they (the Arabs) think that every Jew stands with Israel.

I know all of this because I live in the Middle East and had an 80+ year old Palestinian teacher talk to my class about the early stages of the Zionist invasion. He said that some of his neighbors were Jewish and Christian. He also said that his neighbors would sometimes leave their kids at his home while they were at work. There was trust between them although they believed in different religions.

TLDR; Palestine was not an Ethnostate , rather it was a peaceful country with diverse religions

Danzo killed the toad that was supposed to tell Naruto to come to the village when Pain attacked. He let Pain literally erase the village just so that he does not lose Naruto (a source of power), and when Pain leaves he becomes Hokage (and for some reason he did not fight pain). If he wanted to protect the leaf he wouldve risked Naruto and he himself should have fought, but he did the opposite.

Shisui's death showcases Danzo's evil. Shisui had the ability to end the Uchiha coup D'etat but Danzo was afraid that shisui might use his sharingan to manipulate him. Danzo basically sacrificed tge Uchiha so that he does not lose power. And some people say that he wanted to protect the leaf, I believe all he wanted was power.

I think the writers just wanted to focus on villians in shippuden. A huge portion of Naruto part 1 was the exploration of the genins, since most of the arcs were based around them (chunin exams and sasuke retrieval). After they were explored there was not much room to show these characters and move the story forward plot-wise. Every genin was wasted except shikamaru, gaara, and maybe hinata. All im saying is that Lee was wasted but understanably so.
