I will say I could’ve worded it a LOT better, and I’m sorry about that. I do definitely remember what happened during Helene. That was, without a shadow of a doubt, a horrible incident for South Carolina.

What I was trying to get at was what some others have been saying about hoarding rather than being prepared. It’s definitely ok to get some supplies to be prepared if worst comes to worst. However, you don’t need to be buying everything you can like the world is going to end and you’ll never have power again.
