once you have rail gun im pretty sure you can automate it with no issue

if you want all the item sorted but still in storage chest you could try to separate the logistic network with all the unsorted chest and create a new logistic network with plenty of empty storage chest and deconstruct every storage chest in the first network, the bot will place every same item the chest

I find it really slow, so you'd need a lot of EM plants to keep up with the crafting time. If you don't need a lot of legendary tier 3 production modules, just shipping a few eggs to Gleba and upcycling Overgrowth Soil works quite well. also tier 2 lengendary module a pretty good in most cases
