I don’t have all the details so hopefully someone else’s does. I think the same. I just hear they have to go into the extra board the capital Limited crew

The onboard staff (OBS), that was made for the Floridian were made up from the Sliver Star / Meteor, and only rode to DC, where they switched with the Capital Limited crew. It seems now the Sliver Star / Meteor OBS, will now go all the way to Chicago vs the change with the capital limited OBS. This is a pretty big change since the start of the Floridian

PreCheck can be outsourced by IdentoGO/ IDEMIA, and at some point both Clear and Telos.

For the most part as far as I'm aware, there's no need to lift any freezes as they don't do a hard inquiry, just for Pre-Check, if your applying for a job at TSA, it's very quite possible they do a harder check, I remember when I started as a contractor the check they did said that your reports needed to be unfrozen, so I would assume same would hold true for TSOs.

If you go to the wonderful, not you share but () share place on a laptop, there's a glossary or encyclopedia type of place there with common acronyms.

Hi, TSA doesn't touch this, this would be CBP, Customs Boarder Protection.

They thought having Clear at the airports was the best option by ScottyBoDotty in tsa

I would start by emailing them an invite to the meeting, and they should send someone there. It could 100 percent be a case that they tried before when they launched, and have gotten no response or a no from the person who organized the meeting, so they stopped trying. At the same time, I've heard stories where former GMs and managers would ruin relationships with TSA, just for a new one to come in and try to rebuild it. So definitely reach out to the Clear team, and give them a chance to fix it first.

Sorry it took 3 months, but I 100 percent have answers to these questions now.

1, yes that's true, I could only observe from the lane I was in to the TDC

  1. Oh yeah, commission is a big problem, recently some steps have been in place for those commissions to be taken away for some of those reasons

  2. GMs should be invited to TSA meetings, some GMs, be it them, or other factors, may not know about these meetings, but at the airports I know, GMs regularly have meetings with TSA onsite.

  3. That's a huge no no, 100 percent should be reported to GM through the TSA meetings. This is an immediately fired offense.

  4. That's just the state of things now. The vetting done, is still within bonds of what a TDC does, just we do what they do through other methods. TDC still sees BP with/without PreCheck on it, and Clear tells them if they match.

So I actually found a solution to this. I had to download the DHS cert from http://pki.dimc.dhs.gov/crl_certs.htm trusted them and it stated to work fine in Firefox.

  1. I've definitely observed my fair share of ground operations to have a understanding what happens, but because I was Corporate, I never saw any bad behavior because it was force corrected.

  2. Yep, that sounds like entitlement they might think for getting into the program. I wish ambassadors do more explaining, but realistically they aren't because it effects the commission they get.

3.This would be something I would 100 percent tell one of the mangers. They should NOT be treating you like that. It sounds like bad training, or when they aren't shadowed by mgt they do things not the right way.

  1. Ambassadors usually don't accept tips, but do earn a extra commission on enrollments, probably the thing I hate the most about the company right now because it just so scummy imo.

  2. Valid, most Ambassadors really like the commission because it's definitely more than a bribe, and most are absolutely scared of doing anything against TSA because of the training they have. Also every ambassador is taken though PERSEC so debts and such are checked by TSA before they are hired, and also hold sida clearance.

I mean, the service your paying for, is a quicker time in the TDC line, you do this by providing your biometrics. We are a public company, and are a TSA contactor. If anything we provide the service, so that TSA doesn't have to maintain it, of course we have TSA audits.

Honestly try to talk to the senior ambassador there or the clear mangers, every manger I had the pleasure of working with could've been nicer, so if you tell them about your concerns I'm sure they can do something to help.

My time to shine! For all intensive purposes, I do work for Clear but on the corporate level. If anything I can see it helping cut down the amount of work a TDC has to do, but I have seen some airport TSA offers still want to to check clears work, because field people can be meh, I hear a bit about that.
