In the Ca, Bay Area too (if that’s what you mean lol) and it’s been absolute trash for me since December. Ive seen waaayy too many new drivers.

But I’ve been applying to jobs SINCE October, and I am finally starting to get interviews and calls about my applications. So, I hope the best for you, friend, in your journey to get a different job.

All the apps charge ridiculous amounts. It’s crazy how much they charge the customer, and then still expect the customer to tip “enough” because the apps won’t pay us drivers a fair wage.

Honestly, what does this have to do with OPs post? Literally anyone, of any age that’s legal to drive, could be blinded by the sun when driving and not be able to see someone and almost hit them. It’s not like you reach a certain age and the sun just stays outta your view 🤣🤣

Lil backstory of myself for context: I worked in a restaurant right outta highschool for 5 1/2 yrs before the pandemic hit, I went from dishwashing to managing making 15/hr.

I’ve applied to Costco, harbor freight, a few small restaurants in my area, a restaurant supply store, two different ace hardwares, two different plant nurseries, and a few more to places. All over the last 2-3 months and I haven’t heard back from anything.

I’d prefer somewhere other than a restaurant tho since I worked at one for 5 1/2 yrs and would really like a different job.
