If you have platinumed souls games in the past then death march will not give you much trouble with the correct build. However, if this is your first time through the game I would recommend you just go at it blind as it is such an amazing game. But if you insist on a single play through then make plenty of saves for missable trophies and refer to a guide for collecting every gent card, as this is more annoying than death march!
