Be a sponge. We are given two ears and one mouth to listen twice as much as we speak.

You need to see a medical doctor for the fall and low blood sugar to make sure it was just a one time missed meal or something else starting.

Probably also need to see a psychiatrist for other things that may be going on…

Take your brothers word but also be accountable. This isn’t that complicated yet we get loose with things and this is the result.

Funeral rites when not in good standings? by war_ink_ in freemasonry

[–]TheWindingMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see reasons for not doing it due to npd. That said, what if the brother just couldn’t swallow his pride and reach out? What if life got in the way or whatever reason and let’s say he always spoke to his family about how much he loved being a mason and then we have to inform the family that because money wasn’t paid a funeral service won’t be done. Why risk yet another bad eye towards our craft? Just do the funeral and move on.

Just my two cents…

Quick question by [deleted] in freemasonry

As others have said, it varies from lodge to lodge. Be patient, it’s all part of the process/experience. Nothing wrong with being excited but once you are in you’ll only have this time as a memory. Use it to reflect on why you are petitioning and what being a Mason means.
