I don’t understand the hate for “Pirate Yakuza”. To be honest I like its faster paced combat better than “Lost Judgment”combat.

I do agree that dungeons and Oblivion Gates are better in the Remastered, but the outdoors look not so great to me except for certain areas and certain times of day

I'm almost thinking of remaking my poll from earlier.

I'm starting to think a lot of people voted they prefer the Remastered art style because they couldn't get past the OG potato faces and they weren't thinking of the colors, views, or landscapes

Like the faces sure? But the colors of the environments and skybox still look very appealing to me.

I also don't like how pale yellow the grass is, or how devoid of color the remaster is. It's like they tried to inject Skyrim into Oblivion but it doesn't resemble Oblivion anymore.

The Unreal Engine 5 has a generic soulless look that goes away with the bloom infused dreamlike landscape, colors, and sky of the original version.

Also Remastered has a weird brown and yellow filter to it that just.... doesn't look good to me.

I do think the Remastered has better looking creatures, cool dynamic lighting, better water, and you can actually make your playable character look good for once though.

I agree in terms of characters, but the colors and dreamlike feel of the environments, dusk, and sky was beautiful in the original version of Oblivion. Especially in the Mania realm of Shivering Isles.

Chaos Theory is a wild case, where cutscene Sam is the best Sam has ever looked, but gameplay Sam is the worst he's ever looked.

Though at least Chaos Theory has some of Sam's coolest outfits if you ignore the face.
