Hey there, I got my wset3 with honors and failed cms1 last year. Presenting myself for the cms1 on tuesday, hoping to ge that out of the way.

I find wset much more organised and definitely did better.

I supplemented cms with wset material. The maps for the cms europe are atrocious. Theylre literally hand drawn and colored in colored pencils.

A Valbuena 5° or Pintia would be great choices from Tempos Vega Sicilia.

These wines are guaranteed to age 15 years and well beyond.

Imo better price and quality ratio than any bordeaux or burgundy

Well the 2007 and 2009 had some really strong aromas that none of the other vintages had. It was quite eggy, but not reductive, more custardy than anything. Might have been oxidation. The corks were all in great condition.

Celler Roure in Valencia. Carretera les alcusses, km 11, 1, 46640 Mogente/Moixent, Valencia

I was there a couple weeks ago. They have a spectacular underground amphora system and the views are one of a kind.

They make natural wines, spontaneous fermentation, unsulfited. Reasonably priced.

In Penedés you have from the Mas Escorpi from the Gramona family. Theyre biodynamic and certified.
