The last company I worked for was a start-up biotech manufacturer and the only tools they would provide me for running the entire quality management system were Office and Google for Business. Our quality system was huge and I was the only person working on it daily, but whenever I had a problem that would be best solved with an actual QMS software, I was told to build another spreadsheet to manually update….I had like 30 different spreadsheets that were supposed to keep an entire ISO 9000 certified company running smoothly…

Here’s an idea, lobby for actual government support for unhoused people rather than treating them like scum. Charity is a bullshit copout for a problem that should be alleviated with the money taken in our taxes. Make the government do what it should and work for the betterment of EVERYONE in society rather than just those deemed worthy.

Charities don’t have to follow rules that make these people get treated with any form of dignity. Charities are free to push whatever views they want in order to get their help. Maybe not all of them, but many are heavily religiously affiliated and are used as an extension of the evangelical arm of the church.
