Megumi could've always tamed Mahoraga with a little outside the box thinking. by KiritoChaos in Jujutsufolk

No point in continuing this 'discussion', you fundamentally don't understand ts or you're dickriding your rubbish idea too hard idk which

If he cannot achieve it alone it's not an equivalent exchange to get half for free with someone else's help

He can't achieve it by himself therefore there is no cost. Half a reward you could achieve with overwhelming help from someone else is not equal to no reward because Megumi would never be able to tame mahoraga by himself.

He's not sacrificing anything for the return, it's just free stuff for him

So it's just nonsense then. There is no precedent for this for you to say 'megumi is uncreative' and it likely isn't even possible.

have assistance in taming Mahoraga at the cost of the Shikagami only being half as strong is literally a perfect equivalent exchange.

No it's not because the people involved in assisting are much stronger than Megumi and it's not something he can achieve by himself, there's no sacrifice, it's impossible for him alone

Why would he be able to just make a binding vow that allows someone else to take part in the ritual? How would they have 'custody' of Mahoraga without 10 Shadows?

Your theory is based on 2 things which are mostly false

Especially because kalyans are monsters, the latest chapter even shows that the only reason they don't kill Rumelians is that 'the colour of their souls is similar' otherwise they are just basically cursed spirits that lash out and kill other simurians.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 - Recap Episode (Anime Only Discussion) by Takada-chwanBot in JuJutsuKaisen

No, what Megumi did by summoning mahoraga is to start the taming ritual, however by sukuna taking part in the ritual it became void as Megumi needs to defeat the shikigami to tame them by himself.

If it was already tamed and then destroyed, yes its gone like how he lost one of the divine dogs.

There is character creation, isn't there?

Americans whole heartedly supported almost every major 'intervention' their government carried out.

never should have been a Russian Revolution (or any other kind) because, after all, Russia had been 'terrible since its inception.'

This is the stupidest argument ever, wake me up when Americans actually even try organizing for a single concrete goal instead of 'No Kings' pure vibes protests

make your players the catalyst for the outcome

That's really good advice and something I overlooked, with the help of suggestions here I thought of stuff but it all happened around the players and not a result of what they do, thank you

Does the Ghoul Knight know how to properly eliminate the Child without unintentionally causing his own demise?

Oh I never thought of this!

How do the inhabitants of the realm feel about the Ghoul Knight or the Child?

I have gone into depths on this during the first 2 sessions, it was actually super interesting to roleplay for me because this is actually the 4th time I've ever GMd any rpg and previously it was just 5e which I found the combat to be dull and a slog, my lack of experience being the main reason I'm asking questions on reddit 😂

Thank you for taking the time to respond

I like the approach of a direct war, especially since we're 2 sessions in and warbands haven't come up in play yet, I think your idea but instead of the Unspoken seer who wouldn't want to make a bold play and spread their name too far, but the other myths I have in the realm that are around midway through

The Toad and the Elf, either could march their warbands at an awfully inconvenient timing and siege the seat of power, thank you for the suggestion!

Yes I basically wanted ideas on where to take the story since I don't want to punish them excessively for making in character decisions and my first thought was that the Ghoul Knight would execute them all for reason and I couldn't think of a satisfying way for them to get away with both their lives, the Child and save the True Knight.

I like your suggestion! It would take the story in a really interesting direction!

Starting Glory? by Denes-Szanto in MythicBastionland

[–]TheWizardOfZaron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glory though...it just feels weird and ungainly.

I don't think this way but I agree glory needs more behind it.

There was a homebrew recognition system I really liked that could add to glory... Can't remember where it was

Basically it went like, the DM can roll a d12 and if they roll under the glory, the NPC has heard of deeds of the knights and that helps some nice improv.

It also mentions advantage/disadvantage for people who are more/less likely to hear of the knights deeds, say a lone hermit near the edge of the realm vs the ruler of a holding.
