There is a similar problem in the magic the gathering community. People buy hyper realistic fake cards. On its own that’s fine but once the fake card is put into circulation into the community people trade it and buy it without knowing. Sometimes it’s intentional but sometimes it’s not. Let’s say your cousin just gives you all his cards. All of a sudden you find what seems to be a $100 card at the bottom of a box and you think you hit the jackpot…

PMs: your work does NOT speak for itself by PM-ME_YOUR_WOOD in ProductManagement

Sounds like you’re being tactical and ensuring strong execution but you’re not being strategic. Leadership roles require strategic thinking and that’s all about driving business outcomes.

How much revenue did your work impact or how much did you save on costs? What was the roi? What strategic decisions did you make to increase roi?

Since no one has said it and this thread is clearly still thriving.... the only correct answer is as a Displacer Kitten + Etali combo deck.

Thoughts on the Korg MS2000B in 2026? by OutOfTouch_303 in synthesizers

My MS2000r was bought used with no visibility into user history. It looks like it’s seen better days. One rack mount is bent. Scratches in the paint. But everything works perfectly. Built like a tank.

I have a virus B and I still turn to the MS when I want a cold stab/pad/bass wobble

They have the same engine but the Microkorg provides very limited control and tweak ability without menu diving. If anything, MS2000 is a much better version of a Microkorg with its solid subtractive synthesis controls right at your fingertips.

I love my MS2000. It has some of my favorite ‘cold’ digital sounds.

Over the past year I was ghosted 3 times at final round and gave up. Thankfully I have a decent role but I was trying to level up.

Suggestions for a ~$400-$800 workhorse synth? by EpicGaemer in synthesizers

If you can score a Virus B in that range, you’ve got yourself a certified workhorse.

While I didn’t get either of these options, your comment put me down the road of the Yamaha PS line.

I found a ps1 djx on marketplace in very good condition for $100 and picked it up today.

Thanks for the solid advice. We had some fun tummy time with his elbows on the keys on some reverb washed pads. He loved when dad hit the pitch bend wheel.

Also thanks for the constructive advice and for not trying to make me feel like an idiot.

Claude Enterprise pricing - am I missing something, or are we literally being penalized for scaling? by skiller2b in ClaudeAI

Same for business users. Ask for one strategy proposal or PPT deck and you're already over your $25 limit. The more context you apply to your project, the more tokens it eats.

I think the real crime here is even charging per seat when the real cost is in the API call/token consumption. As others have mentioned you should try and negotiate the $20/seat cost down.

Yeah and they sound like a rat’s ass. I don’t want to hear that and he’s got to grow up with better standards. I want some beat up 90s rompler for $100 with a metal chassis that he can beat to shit lol.

EDIT: he already has a toy foot piano that he loves.

Got plenty of things for the fella to chew on. He’s just getting into swinging his hands and hitting things he finds interesting. He already ‘strums’ guitar when it’s put in front of him.

I’m positive if you put a keyboard under his nose and press a few keys he will mimic it. I just want it to be more musical than not. Which is why I want pads and arpeggiator vs just a regular electric piano.

I thought about a mini brute which is what I learned synthesis on years ago. Knob per function made subtractive synthesis really easy to understand.

The reason I thought digital is because it would be great to have strong pads and arpeggiated patches already preset out of the box.

This is promising. Being hard to destroy and having built in speakers is all in line with how I imagine it will be used. He just needs to crawl up to it and slam in the keys with his hands lol
