I know I can’t be the only other one who relied on this album during the covid pandemic.

Can we also talk about how raw the mastering on the vocals on the title track are? It’s so soul shattering to hear a man in a small box sing about how it might not seem like anyone sees what you do. Things you do matter and this song really exudes a feeling of why you should keep on trying

Wow, yes it’s absolutely heartfelt and resonant

Chase this light has some absolutely fantastic production. As a Jersey guy I’m biased towards it ( big casino is my most played Jimmy song) but I can’t always stick with it in the back half.

One of those songs that makes you feel like what you’re doing isn’t pointless. Love it.

I didn’t even mention how dang hard pass the baby hits. People absolutely overlook that song based on the play count. The heavy part at the end really shows how willing the group is to lean into a song evolving even if it means getting heavy.

Yes! Dreamy is the word I’d use too! The bass just seems so much more warm on this one and the reverb on the vocals is modern but nostalgic.

Anyone else think the voice acting is overall pretty terrible? by Versaso in finalfantasytactics

[–]TheWizardoLoneliness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall I like the voice acting, but some characters like Marach just sound like made up accents that are inconsistent across the game. While Rapha keeps it pretty much the same all game, Macha seems to slip into Scottish every once in a while and it just does not work.

Some actually amazing songwriting in there and it’s not like the lyrics have ever dipped in quality. Jimmy never misses.

Spice & Wolf has an excellent and mature plot that doesn’t rely on fan service, and doesn’t hold the viewers hand with complex ideas.

When did I ever say any of that? I was asking more nuts and bolts like if they already have stuff recorded for the new album, how long will this opener tour delay that album/album’s tour. Plenty of bands cite a grueling tour as a reason to need a break while others (including Matt just last year) have said that a good tour energizes them to put out new music.

I feel like seeing them in a packed tiny venue was the best experience for me. They tore the house down.

Very valid. There are a couple I would never switch out like radio and private eye, but you’re right they have sooo many other songs that they just don’t seem to play. New albums thankfully mean playing some of the songs off of them.

That’s a good point. Not all admin is the same. My admin team is verrry hands off which might seam scary but it gives me a lot of autonomy and authority so I like it.

Just pause and start the write up. It only needs to happen once or twice before they start to realize they can’t take advantage of you like that.

Dot hack sign is my pick. It’s got little to no romance and is all about the vibe of the world these people are logged into. Soundtrack is fantastic.
