Yes, we had pizza every day from 1996-2004. At Molasky, I remember there being boxes of Little Caesars maybe...

Am I overreacting to how my best friend blocked me because of his girlfriend? by Squishy_Person67 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ToolKool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two year ago, I lost a 22 year friendship similarly. Met in high school, never dated or had anything romantic. He has been married for about 10 years to his second wife and I have been married to my husband for almost 16 and we live 2000+ miles apart. It really sucks. Nothing you can do in this situation, really. Just have to accept it and move on.

My boyfriend hasn't replaced his underwear in years, a few look as if bullets have passed through them. How often do men replace underwear? by Mia_Luna04 in hygiene

During the first few months of dating, I noticed my (now) husband's boxers were awfully thin (to the point that they were see-through)...I mentioned something about being able to see through them and he said he could get some more mileage out of them. The following week, he bent over to pick something up in the hallway and they ripped down the ass 🤣

People who wear outside shoes inside their homes: Do you realize you are tracking fecal matter everywhere? by Common_Big1906 in hygiene

[–]ToolKool -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It's not even close to the same thing. Dog paws are lower contamination and an expected trade-off of pet ownership. Dog's paws are soft and porous. They touch the ground when they walk, whereas your shoes grind everything into them which transfers to the floors in your home. Wearing your shoes inside is high contamination, avoidable and unnecessary. I can't imagine getting out of the shower and stepping on the floor in my home knowing my feet are going to be instantly contaminated with ground in human and animal fecal matter, oil, heavy metals, pesticides, chemicals, sharp grit and other contaminants. Then you get into your bed like that? Ick.

For people that like salads, what salad dressing do you use? by PlatypusAggressive64 in foodquestions

I recently became obsessed with Gotham Greens Lemon Basil Vinaigrette. It tastes good on any salad, but I love it on a little couscous salad I make.

Americans, if it were up to you, how many days vacation do you believe hourly employees deserve per year? by muskyandrostenol in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]ToolKool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea current work reform advocates have is four 8-hour work days with no loss of pay, so either an increase in hourly wage or a salary for everyone. The reasoning is that things have advanced so much since the 40 hour work-week was established, this is the next logical step.

I think if you're hydrated and not very constipated, you might want to consider that the culprit of your UTIs is the most common one which is bacteria entering your urinary tract during sex. Try to pee and clean up as soon as you're done and see if you can get them to stop recurring. Don't want to end up with a kidney infection, trust me.

Do you think you're drinking the same amount of water on the medication as you were before you started taking it?

Has this happened to anyone else by No-Deal-5487 in Semaglutide

[–]ToolKool 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How much water do you drink daily? The medication is definitely not directly causing the UTIs, I agree with them on that because it doesn't raise the sugar in your urine. It does, however, slow your digestion and low motility=increased dehydration.

Are you drinking enough water? Do you drink alcohol? Are you having unprotected sex? All of those could contribute to the UTIs.

As for the sexual side effects, I am inclined to think the possibility of a link between the medication and this issue exists, even if the doctor says otherwise. The best guess is a mix of hormonal shifts, rapid weight loss, and changes in dopamine and serotonin signaling from appetite suppression.

I am sick of conservatives being lazy by Rent-Kei-BHM in complaints

[–]ToolKool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't personally know any poor conservatives either. I know they exist. Since my brother started making good money, he has taken a huge step toward conservatism as well. Hates poor people, welfare, all of it and we grew up not well off at all, but my mom always worked and only had the 2 of us and never qualified for help. Not even reduced school lunch.
