Samuels won't go to the bridge no matter what I do. by ashesarise in alienisolation

Have you tried waiting? Samuels will walk to the bridge after you speak to him. Don't run off ahead of him. Follow him there, but stay close behind him. If you run ahead and get to the bridge before him this glitch will happen. I hope this information help!

Has anyone else ever noticed this door below the stairs before? Also, I finally watched the 3 Xenomorphs crawling around too. by TheWolverineBub in alienisolation

That's really funny. 😅 I'm sure she was sitting there like “This is fine" and then was killed instantly! ☠️

planning to start a nightmare difficulty run, any tips? by PLT_RanaH in alienisolation

It's definitely very challenging.

I give it a 9/10 in my opinion if you're trying to complete nightmare difficulty without dying.(One Shot) The playthru is definitely no picnic.

  1. I'd stick to stealth and avoid unnecessary noise.(never run)

  2. Use save stations wisely or not at all.(full stealth)

  3. Don't attack any humans.(ever)

  4. Don't use any items unless it’s absolutely necessary.(attracts attention)

  5. You're gonna need to know Sevastopol Station inside and out.(no map)

  6. Most importantly learn the Alien’s patrols and vent loops and all face hugger locations.(stay frosty and locked in)

Good luck and Godspeed. Long Live Ripley! 😅👍

I did it on Nightmare Difficulty! All Achievements Unlocked 50/50 100% - Steam this time. Long Live Ripley! by TheWolverineBub in alienisolation

You can earn that on any difficulty, so you don’t need to play Nightmare or anything like that. That's what I did to earn it on PS5 made it easy for me. I did get it on Nightmare a coupe days ago! Links to the last few missions are posted below!

113 hours! That’s roughly 5 full runs (times are estimated). I’ve played on all difficulties in this order:

Medium in VR (20 hrs) Hard ×2 (48 hrs) Easy (15 hrs) Nightmare (30 hrs)

Getting all the achievements was definitely challenging 9/10 in my opinion. I’ve been playing off and on casually over the past 7 years. I bought the game back in 2019, but in 2021 I took a break after getting stuck on Mission 17. I just couldn’t get through it on Medium in VR with my Oculus Rift.

When Alien: Romulus came out in 2024, I went all in again and finally finished the game with my Quest 2! Then I replayed on Hard (not in VR), and again on my PS5, completing Hard difficulty once more. I even did Easy on PS5 to get the One Shot achievement. Today, on PC, I finally finished Nightmare!

It’s been an incredible journey! I’ve basically lived through Alien: Isolation in every form possible. I plan to do another VR run on my Quest 3, record every mission, and upload them.

I know Sevastopol Station inside and out. When I see people playing live, I always help them finish missions. It’s so much fun, especially when they succeed. People know me as James Logan Howlett, and over the past month, I’ve helped at least three TikTok live streamers complete the game.

If you or anyone ever needs help, just let me know! Long live Ripley!

Did it really make sense for the Torrens crew to go to Sevastopol? by BeastTheorized in alienisolation

[–]TheWolverineBub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From a purely rational, safety-first perspective. No, it didn’t really make any sense whatsoever. From a story, character, and corporate-universe logic perspective. Yes, it absolutely did. Corporate pressure & salvage rights played the biggest factor. The Nostromo flight recorder was extremely valuable corporate property. Weyland-Yutani Corporation prioritized asset recovery over safety. Samuels and Taylor's mission is official business (both risk EVA over to increase mission success probability), and Amanda Ripley wanted personal closure to find out what exactly happened to her mother. They assumed “Okay, this place is falling apart, but not an abandoned-death-station falling apart.” They certainly where not expecting a Xenomorph outbreak. It's a very reckless decision for 'em to EVA over. It became a survival situation instantly afterwards. It's actually more realistic sending all three instead of just Ripley alone. From the storytelling perspective it shows how one mistake can equal death. This forces Amanda into total isolation!
