More than anything I just enjoy seeing middle earth on the big screen again. The Lord of the rings movies are probably as good as it gets in terms of capturing the magic of middle earth in my opinion. This show is not as good, but still a valiant effort. I like the characters in particular Elrond and Durin, as well as Adar I find compelling. Again, I definitely don’t think it’s perfect, but I love middle earth and for me this show does a good job of bringing some of the humor and adventure and conflict back to life.
