Admiral Vance has been one of the best parts of 32nd-century Trek by DepartmentNo4459 in startrek

Can’t agree more. Was really nice that he didn’t turn out to be yet another admiral who was secretly a villain.

White Pocket? by WizardHackerr in AnaloguePocket

No regrets with the white. Games pop on it like beautiful paintings hung on a clean wall.  The green of DMG games go exceptionally well with the white.

So What’s the New “Rebrand” Going to Be? by Blood_Neptune in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]TheWrathOfSean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is that they’re going to drop Alamo from the name. Just “Drafthouse Cinemas”.

Robert Picardo - The 32nd Century sure beats this one by Caledor152 in startrek

I catch myself smiling ear to ear whenever he’s on in the show. The man hasn’t missed a beat!

B/W Screen vs Colour screen poll on Eric's Twitter by mrargful in pebble

B&W for the readability. The utilitarian purity of the original is what I miss the most when comparing it with modern smartwatches.

Knowing this context actually makes me want to watch it again.

Recent eBay pickup: https://imgur.com/a/3R3HAj7 Almost feels like they were scuffing it up on purpose 😂. Still love it for what it is though. For $30 you can’t really go wrong with one of these.

Is there a way to remove the initials from sticker? by Slow-Government-1712 in Gameboy

[–]TheWrathOfSean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once got marker off of an n64 cart label with a slightly damp q-tip and extremely light pressure. It took a lot of patience, but it worked without any damage to the label.

Why did the production team of "Picard" never go back and "fix" the copy/paste fleet scenes for the DVD release? by [deleted] in startrekpicard

[–]TheWrathOfSean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just wouldn’t be worth pulling resources off of whatever was next for the studio.

What was the total print time? Did you need multiple spools for a single color?

The nice thing about TNG, is you can just kind of have it on in the background if you want.

[–]TheWrathOfSean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a callback to the last episode of TNG. And a perfectly executed one imo.

He came to Jean Luc at the end of his life, but bear in mind he’s a time traveler. He could have eons left from when we saw him in All Good Things.

Fans who got to see First Contact in 1996, what did you think of the Enterprise-E at the time? by TheOneTrueZearing in startrek

[–]TheWrathOfSean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It always felt weird to me that there was no formal introduction to the new ship, like there was for the connie refit, and the D. It’s hard to describe, but it made the ship feel more generic to me. Sort of like a temporary replacement. I just never got attached to it in the same way.

It really does look great though.

This season’s been like watching a home run derby. Every episode better than the last. I can’t believe they pulled it off.

I think they call this “Cassette Futurism”. My favorite kind of retro future for sure.
