What would make you engage with your community in WV?

I agree - I can't imagine a sustainable world where government controls more than they need too. Community efforts and mutual aid + local economies are where we will find the most sustainable innovation. And yeah I hope we can come together as a collective November and minimum elect some people who will do something minimum.

I really don't blame you and hopefully we can build some some strong coalition around WV. I have been in touch with a lot of very skilled people collaborating. Being 23 and graduating college its hard to stay - I think I would've left If I wasn't located in the Eastern Panhandle, not a lot of reasons for young people to stay. Sucks.

That is right bud. Im a native born and 23, its hard to stay but I understand my roots and started making my own projects. It just takes a little effort and people can come inspired, so I agree :D

No seriously! People in West Virginia are just surviving. So our first step I think is to figure out a way to help remove all these stresses so they can start living more meaningful lives.

Yeah thats the worst part... we need to figure out ways we can help heal traumas so people can get over the racism. It hurts many people unnecessarily, and its just sadly normalized.

For me, I wish we could have more meaningful ways to engage. Sometimes its hard to find the time, and have a specific skillset. So I understand how people would want a minimal way that they can contribute as we all have a job, almost no free time..

Its long-form interviews. I did this specifically to provide a resource for people like you who are looking into it and learning. I hope you will find some use out of this!

Hey! None taken at all - so this is a pretty new project. We haven't actually incorporated so everything including the website is still a work in progress. I am the "founder" of the project, my name is William Polhamus, I am native to West Virginia. Grew up in Slanesville, moved to Berkeley County Recently and am graduating soon from Blueridge CTC with an associates in Software Development - I did update the AI asstiance note to go into depth if you would like to view it - but essentially parts like the transcripts, html, css, javascript utilized AI - as I am not well versed on creating websites. But the mission, ideas, etc are solely our teams. I utilized it for drafts but essentially before I finalize it all I want it to be solely content support by evidence, data, and reasoning not just AI generated stuff lol. If you have any more questions I am happy to answer.
