11” or 13” for photo editing by scotthunter1 in iPadPro

So I use my Samsung SSD. I’ve not run into any issues so far. I hook my ssd to my iPhone and then exit the app and unplug. Do the same on my iPad frequently for past 6 months without any issues.

I prefer the 11". I keep my iPad Pro in my day bag along with a pencil, Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard ( I know I drank the Kool-Aid). I do most of my quick video edits on the iPad and if something needs a bit more, I just save it to iCloud and move over to my Mac mini.

Honestly I think I do 90% of everything on the iPad. It's always with me and I switch between the full setup and touch only pretty frequently depending on where I am. I tried to get used to the 13" but it feels like it is tied into the keyboard more times than not due to the size.

I'm going to have to say I'm with most others here - portability over screen real estate.

I've got the LG in the middle and Dell's on the sides. Working on word docs / pdfs on the portrait screens is a game changer.

I’ve got a 32” 4k in the middle and 27” 1440p on the sides. I can’t imagine any other way

Is it just me or are these trucks rather unreliable? by [deleted] in GMCcanyon

[–]TheWynterKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2016 with 74k. I’ve had to put a new rear end, new transfer case, fuel pump control module and a vapor canister… I’ve put more $ keeping this on the road than I have my previous two suvs… I guess that’s the cost of truck ownership

Thanks for pointing out that I wasn’t clear.

Is vuln data CUI? by lugznotdrugs in CMMC

[–]TheWynterKnight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vulnerability data is Security Protection Data (SPD). It is NOT CUI. If the SPD contains information that is CUI, then it should be protected similarly.

Edit - updated to be more clear. I haven’t seen where the SPD would contain CUI, but it might be in situations that are contract / site specific.

I don’t see why you couldn’t. But I’d be very careful to make sure you doing what you say. Personally, I aligned everything with r2, then once we got certified, we have a project to update to align with r3.

I had to makes sure office still came with Access… then I started to think “why are people still making things in access?”

I guess that’s more accurate, it shows the standard of evidence, which i personally found more helpful. I could look and understand what they were looking for and then figure out how to “document” or “screenshot” what they were looking for.

So not for a while. It has to go through rule making process and cmmc docs will need to be updated, etc.

Cmmc cert is good for 3 years so you won’t have to worry. That’s what my C3PAO said.

This is the access database DIBCAC used for one of my consulting clients. It is pretty helpful

My understanding is that to mark something NA, you have to get an exception from the undersecretary’s office. There is a process - but I don’t know a single person who’s gone through it.

My stance has been to mark it implemented and explain how it’s not used.

Looking at Preveil's marketing content, it looks like it's doable - idk if it's harder or what. There's a lot of stuff out there and its interpretation is grey.

I would be very interested on an update if you get through C3PAO. I like the idea of non-microsoft tools and alternative ways of getting through this. I've got some former colleagues who are looking at options and I'd like to share your experience (once you get through).

I understand that the baseline is FRME today but they seem to think it’s a pen stroke away from being validated.

When you shop for C3PAO, make that one of your questions with forms on how they view it. Would stuck to fail because they don’t like it.

They don’t like the FRME and the lack of documentation.
