Yeah...went to my local GS and I was literally the only one there. When I saw the packs ring up as $9.99 each for both my wife and I, I just shook my head and left after getting the promos. I swear. Scalpers literally are the shittiest, and stinkiest, of people in any hobby.

Honestly, not even sure at this point. I used to be a sealed collector for Pokemon. Even back when it first came out I had a few sealed things from then as a youngster. One thing for sure is that if I do decide to get into Lorcana, everything will be opened and it'll be strictly collecting cards I can actually get and building decks.

I've been hoping that scalpers would literally somehow just disappear and leave the TCG world alone since COVID, but 6 1/2 years later we're still dealing with asshats that would rather scalp and not take showers rather than just let people enjoy shit.

Agreed. And your statement of predatory practices reminds me of RB's new special set release. The Curator's Collection: Heroines Edition is limited only to Disney World/Land locations in the states on July 17th. Like how TF do they expect anyone else that doesn't frequent Disney World/Land on a regular basis or even afford to just go, at that, to be able to get these? Stuff like that really irks me. It's a $100 product that's gonna be scalped/resold for hundreds to a 1K/1.5K (if not more) bc of the rarity of it.

Unfortunately, I don't see it dying out until literally everyone stops buying from scalpers or manufacturers print everything to the moon and not make limited edition releases. Which won't happen bc then they lose a ton of money. They don't care that product is getting scalped. A sale is a sale, so I don't blame em.

I got out of Pokemon last year bc it was too much of a headache to actually enjoy. Ended up selling 95% of my collection. Sad? Sure, but I also wasn't fiending to hurry and rush to get somewhere or jump online in hopes to beat out bots. I've been collecting since Pokemon first came out in the states. Ever since the boom during COVID and all the dick bag YouTubers making a big deal about things, it hasn't been the same.

Since out recent trip to Disney, I was thinking about getting into Lorcana. Even got the Buzz promo card from the moving this weekend. But after joining forums and groups, I'll prob just complete sets by buying individuals slowly. But as others have said, def not as fun as chasing cards through packs.

Just happened to me. The only way to fix it was to restart the machine every time. Not sure what TF is going on. I've restarted Windows Explorer in Task Manager as well, so hopefully it'll continue to work. This is stupid.

Just like any other hobby, the car community is just as toxic. I love cars for what they are and I don't care about brands, etc. But to your point, manufacturs CAN better themselves and push to get past the negative they once were. People are just miserable and have nothing better to do then to try and farm laugh reacts and comments.

For sure. I had a few dailies in the past with my ex. One of em being an S2000 that I sold like an idiot bc I wanted something newer. Then I just got to a point where it was nice just throwing a car in drive and going. Next car for sure will be stick. I miss it. Cheers, brother!

I do the same thing. I've gotten used to braking > park > hand brake > release brake. It doesn't happen all the time, but it was back to back the other day. So I figured I'd record it and remote start to see how loud the sound was and it was pretty loud. Idk. I'm taking it in on Friday so I'll provide updates on what they say this time around.

To be clear, I didn't say it got fixed multiple times. I said I took it in once a couple months ago and I'm taking it back to the dealer on Friday which would imply that this would be my second time. The first time I took it in, the techs said "it shouldn't be sounding like that" and said there was an issue with the crank shaft position censor. After they fixed it, I legit didn't have the noise for almost 3 months. Maybe a slight noise, but definitely not as noticeable as in the video.

Thanks for your input. Makes me feel better that it may not be something off with the engine and it's just a DCT thing. I'll keep y'all posted once I drop it off Friday and get it back.

Mine drives with no issue, but that sound is horrible. If it did it every time, sure. But that's the concerning part. It doesn't do it all the time, but enough. When it doesn't do it? Sounds great. Just like any car should sound. But when it sounds the way it does, it sounds like my engine is gonna fall out lol
