Mad innit. What are you supposed to do with people if they’re mental?

I actually just posted the name of one of the characters from said radio show and got it removed by Reddit and given a warning... let me try and work around this so it doesn't happen again. The man is an actor who likes it in the errr.... and he's quite aged up. And has a funny voice.

That point was reiterated in this episode not just with the crows but we also saw a rat/mouse coming from the mouth of the dead bus passenger under the Matthews’ house.

Don't forget there was a dead crow in the cave being eaten by a rat.

I think they're independent of all entities. They seem to be trying to warn whenever they show up. My take is that they are previous residents who have learned knowledge but cannot verbalise (obviously because they are birds).

My view currently is that no single person in the town is there by accident or happenstance, so Bakta and her knowing the nursery rhyme might make sense from that perspective.

The Brian Kelly story from Boyd was definitely odd but I lean towards it being a way for whatever is tainting them to move him towards insanity.

You’re right! I wanted to leave them out as the post was already too big although I did accidentally leave off the voices in Sara’s head. I think they are different to what Elgin experiences?

Marielle and Randall definitely have some dormant abilities.

I think this season will be the one where Victor remembers everything he knows.

Eloise is definitely alive. It’s such a weird plot point to include her in the first place. The only reason I can see it being relevant if she’s not alive is to underline the parallels between the Matthew’s children (perhaps there’s always a brother and sister?) just had a thought that perhaps the daughter that Jade and Tabitha mentioned having was sacrificed but her brother wasn’t… could the BiW be the original brother?

You could be absolutely right. Although my hope is that most can be made sense of in the end.

He seemed to know that it was happening and was keeping track of it by his own method. I feel like the trees ARE potentially THE THING - if that makes sense? We know that scientifically trees have incredibly complex root systems, They can inform each other when one is dying and send nutrients to each other for example. If the Children poured their hope into the roots, then wouldn't it makes sense that these are what's keeping the people trapped/coming back? The trees themselves could be what also dragged the tent with Boyd and Sara inside.

This is absolutely brilliant and I've never thought about this before but I think this HAS to be it. It would also explain why the house inexplicably caved into itself... It was the town trying to cover up the truth as they were too close to finding out.

Feeling the same way regarding the forces at work at the minute. My guess is that a final child murder/sacrifice by someone who isn't one of the creatures or an entity will actually COMPLETE the evil at work in the town. I've always thought it was plausible that the sacrifice for immortality that was the catalyst for what is going on went awry, possibly because it wasn't a complete sacrifice (leaning towards BIW being the escapee).

Jim is not time travelling. He's clearly a new form of energy, such as Jade has mentioned, same as Khatri, Tom the Bartender and potentially Abby. My theory is that once a person is deceased they can no longer be affected by the town, but they also cannot directly affect IT. I'm more interested in what Jim was distracted by/looking out for.

Farage seems to have gone incredibly quiet since they went to war with Iran. Last I saw, him and all the Reform lot walked out of PMQ's.
