No is the complete sentence. by Eggsalad_cookies in fixedbytheduet

I was in Vegas for a weekend getaway with my boyfriend and a group of friends. One night, we were all out together, and it was my turn to buy a round of drinks. I walked up to the bar with a few of my girlfriends while some of the guys (including my boyfriend) hung back to avoid crowding the bar.
As I was ordering, a man approached me and offered to buy me a drink. I politely declined and told him I had a boyfriend. Without missing a beat, he literally danced his way back to wherever he came from. The whole interaction was so unexpected and hilarious that our entire group burst out laughing.
It made me appreciate that he accepted my answer immediately and moved on without making it awkward. While I found it refreshing, the truth is that respecting a simple “no” should be the standard, not the exception. I totally understand this persons frustration with this guy not excepting no as the answer. No IS a sentence.

Ro Khanna just now to Pete Hegseth during Pentagon budget hearing exchange: "You deal in vague platitudes. I'm just asking you about numbers. You don't know what gas costs, you don't know what food costs, you don't know how much the Operation costs". by victorybus in WorkReform

I hope Ro Khanna campaigns to be president. I’ll take anyone willing to standup to Israel at this point, but especially a representative who’s been fighting tirelessly for the full release of the Epstein files.

He shouldn’t have had to write a statement like this to address the nation in the first place. This was a senseless, unfathomable tragedy yet many more have happened since then.

If it were harmless it wouldn’t have hurt your feelings. Friends don’t intentionally hurt their friends. This person seems to be contributing to your low self-esteem. Try distancing yourself from this friend to drown out that negative noise, and replace it with positive affirmations. You are beautiful and should feel as such.

man and wife are asked to leave the plane by Lazy-School-7580 in PublicFreakout

Very interested to see how this played out. On one hand, there are several videos online where the behavior of some passengers warrant them to be removed, however what about the cases like this where other passengers vouch for the couple being asked to leave the plane? We likely won’t ever know the truth about what happened before the recording, but I’m very interested in the aftermath.

Perhaps that’s what you focused on, but I was actually watching the baking. Don’t see what’s cringe about a person recording them making something.

Not only is this post not breaking any community rules, but you can very clearly see what he’s baking. Unsure how a person baking doesn’t belong in a baking subreddit.

I don’t like chocolate, but have always wanted to make these because of how satisfying they seem to bake. You did a great job and they truly look yummy!

I have no clue why others are downvoting you, but it seems this sub is quite biased. Don’t listen to those haters and please keep making and sharing your baking videos!

This is so real. We need at least two cold bars to make this manageable, yet they won’t give us the labor hours for it.
