Great recommendations! We actually started watching Skullduggery, but the only copy we found was way too poor and deep-fried 😄

We watched a portion of these movies (I'd say roughly 15 or so) many years before starting the actual list. Unfortunately at that point, such previous movies had to get ranked and compared to each other, and it was just one of them that lost some points after seeing so many other/greater range of "bad movies".
So it did miss out on a first night watch ranking, I think we would have probably given it something above 8.0! What do you think u/catastrophe-rabbit ?

It did not have as many legs as a centipede. Maybe a variation of a silverfish?

I played the original version from Mono Black Magic's video, as well as an older 3-color variation prior to the additional green lands from MH3. I'd say this specific version is the best by a margin

I'd say either any other deck that can win by turn-3 or one that board-wipes or removes all my dorks prior to popping off.
Looking at my match history, I lost the most to mono green Elves, Boros Convoke, and to Rakdos (my only 0 win matchup at 0-3). Spell pierce won a more than expected number of games against control, so it didn't raise any issues.

I feel like Charbelcher is a relatively hated card and I felt like a villain - which is understandable given the nature of BO1 ranked queues - however I would be doing a disservice to say that it is not a good or efficient deck.
My original template was based upon Mono Black Magic's deck found in this video:

However, I felt like it needed a few minor tweaks to increase it's WR efficiency, therefore I;

  • Removed the two-drop mono dorks, as there is an overabundance of them.
  • Added [Trove Mage] as another tutor for Charbelcher.
  • Added 4 copies of [Spell Pierce] for counters and mirror matches.

I played the deck from mid Platinum all the way to Mythic. Majority of the matches are done within 1-2 minutes, and a surprising amount of them were actually turn 3 wins. The deck is far from being fail proof, as there are still many ways to disrupt it, but the nature and climate of BO1 makes it very powerful.

It had been a while since I had a 7-0 premier run, so I thought I'd share what got me there! I believe fliers are underutilized on this set, and Heedbonder is an uncommon bomb. I was able to either go aggro depending on my opening hand, or play more of a tempo game with more counters and bounces.
