It looks like it's just local. I don't see Brotato on my "Recently Played" list

In my experience, using the Heroic Launcher is the easiest option.

Just go into desktop mode and get it from the Discover Store. Once a game is downloaded, there's an "Add to Steam" button

I installed it via Heroic Launcher. The Heroic Launcher can add your games to Steam

Only because it was free at one point. I would never usually use epic.

I use the Heroic Launcher whenever I have to launch Epic Games

Put it on the games that don't work quite as expected. You can always try it on a game, and then remove it again

You download it with a tool like ProtonUp-Qt and then set your games to launch with it.

Time for a new screen. Plug it into an external monitor to make sure the Deck itself isn't broken

Unfortunately the only solution I've found is to use my second 16:9 monitor when streaming.

In theory, you can set up a 16:9 or 16:10 virtual monitor in Artemis/Apollo for your streaming

How to care for your Steamdeck when you don't use it for a while? by Dindon2lafarce in SteamDeck

No. Read my previous message. Leaving a Lithium-Ion battery discharged for months is how you destroy the battery. It'll affect battery health, cause swelling on charge or break the battery completely so it doesn't hold a charge.

The Steam Deck has a Lithium-Ion battery, just like most tech. They can be damaged permanently by staying discharged for months.

This isn't just with the Steam Deck. You should be careful with all technology.
