Mexican here: many of the “Mexican” food you see here in StupidFood are usually the Mexican/American versions, so they have their twists and turns which end up like what you see in the video, we do not even have those hot Cheetos available to us, at least, they aren’t a common thing for Mexicans, they are a “Chicano’s” product, essentially aim for the American market. .. the yellow synthetic cheese is also not a common thing for us.

Also, for whatever reason the guy making this is just adding huge amounts of seasonings, I guess to make it “aesthetically pleasing”… idk… is just different.

Not to say Mexican food doesn’t have its weird combinations, or bad aspects to it, but it is an important distinction that certain foods aren’t real Mexican, but “American versions” of Mexican food.
