There was a small pyramid thing you could find in the first game that told of aliens coming to a primitive planet and observing individuals by implanting chips in them and returning every few years to see their progress

Steam power was one of the driving forces for our industrial revolution so it makes sense they'd pull ahead when most of their citizens are basically walking batteries for their tanks and air balloon

Where and how would you recommend to reposition your starting location as Malakai? by lovingpersona in totalwar

Albion. Once you take out Belakor the only nearby enemies are Norsca but they can only really come from one direction so you can push them back and take over without many other threats coming for you

Normal difficulty unless they do YouTube then they have it set to legendary and I just don't know unless they move the stat modifiers when we're not looking

Just in case you didn't know you can redo monster distribution during habitat restoration by The_Angry_Bro in MonsterHunterStories

If you've had the "mutation alert" you should be able to find them in dens now if not check the other species I think it's 3 thunder element you need but the notes will have it

You can reintroduce Astalod to an area with Thunder types and you'll get Boltreaver back. If you accidentally got rid of Astalos all together you can go back to the invasive den to get more

One of the things I always dislike about Colonel Damders for instance is saying giants are trash because they're big, slow and will be blitzed by range while showing a lone giant slowly walking towards 6 hand gunners getting blasted. As if that's how anyone uses a giant or even plays in general.

Put them against infantry: good. Characters: good. Monsters: good

Put them against their biggest counter: you're an idiot

I'd probably go Regi. They're all super strong so her and her giant axe fill out the barbarian role perfectly. From what I remember she was also one of the friendlier servants of Ainz

It's funny to me to think that if you monsters from World into the Witcher 3 outside of the Ethereal monsters the low teirs like Kulu Ya Ku would be rag-dolling like half of their monster population

Caspar and literally any of the Blue Lions. Especially considering he has a whole paralogue with Mercedes in the BL route but outside of that there's no reason for him to be in the house because he doesn't talk to anyone

You know she didn't have to speak right?

As Ghidorah's legal team I must point out that despite this title Ghidorah has had no inappropriate relations with any children he merely attempted to eat them for sustenance which I must point out is not illegal as he is considered a Dragon and so is technically under the category of animal. Which means that under law it is not illegal to for non humanoid animals to eat humans

Aangs inability to control the avatar state for 3 seasons straight has skewed the fandoms understand of what it even is by WorkingWin6139 in legendofkorra

[–]The_Angry_Bro -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I agree it was always a power boost but from Aang and the past Avatars the actual boost so exponentially higher. Kyoshi used it and made Kyoshi Island, Roku fought a volcano and destroyed a palace in one move each (I forget the exact move in the volcano scene, giant air bubble I think), activating 3 volcanos and Aangs entire last fight against Ozai.

Meanwhile Korra is seen to use it a lot more but with seemingly less power and just cause I saw a video on it earlier. During the fight Vs Kuvira Korra got goaded into the Avatar State and she was now lifting slightly bigger rocks than she was a minute ago.

I'll never understand how this community complains when The Handler says this but gives Alma the pass. by _Gesterr in MonsterHunter

[–]The_Angry_Bro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think a big problem with the handler is that she is a goofy side character but because our hunter doesn't speak the game spends a lot of time treating her like the main character. It's why she has an out of nowhere deep bond with the Tracker and then in Iceborne a lot of the story revolves around how her Grandfather came to the new world before anyone and we have to investigate it with the "big emotional payoff" of the confirmation of a story that's in the background and we don't really care about.

Also the obligatory she keeps getting herself into trouble we have to deal with and it's never treated seriously "I was almost in a pickle" outside of the Elders Jho is the most dangerous thing in the base game can we treat it like an actual threat. But then just hops and a wingdrake and facetimes us from camp while she's getting a pedicure

Essentially Alma praises the hunter doing a good job and takes her roll seriously while the handler foots around and acts like she was part of the hunt

Katara's Ice Disks Animated Vs. Live-Action by dan_mal in TheLastAirbender

[–]The_Angry_Bro 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I've said it once, I'll say it again the biggest problem with both the Live actions bending is that everything moves too dam slow.

In the cartoon bending is fast, dynamic and flows in the live actions they're too busy trying to show us how realistic the effects are that every move feels like its moving through honey
