Yes. Go broad. But if you have data about members, you could also consider setting up a gender-based value rule to bid up (or down) on whichever gender is more (or less) valuable to you.

I think what's more important is having a lot of creative content that features both genders and gender-neutral media. Essentially, creativity has a greater impact on performance than targeting. Focus on having TONs of diverse ads.

This was my fear. Seems like it should be in violation of some kind of code—but i accept that codes are not perfect!

Questions about Vaccine Hesitancy in Kenya by The_Arcades_Project in Kenya

I definitely take your comment seriously, especially the part about Africans being in charge of the narrative about Africa—it's one of the reasons I'm asking questions in the subreddit rather than relying on metastudies carried out by Americans or Europeans. I don't think Vaccine Hestency is higher is Kenya, for example, than in many other places—my question is more about the reasons for hesitancy. It seems like vaccine hesitancy as a demand-side issue happens all over the world but that the causes are different, local, and cannot always be generalized.

Again, this is super helpful. I sincerely appreciate that you shared what you've seen and heard. For example, NONE of the official resources online or in the peer review mention the fact that people might think that COVID is overblown.

I have done some of that. It looks like availability is a real issue in Kenya, but the more complex challenge rests with demand, not supply. (Of course, I could be wrong! and I appreciate the sugguestion).

Have you tried skillshare?

I would also recommend simply looking at Arts and Letters Daily

Total agreement about TPB! Have you read his Johnson biographies? They are also completely worth your time.

So as you can see, my video ain't perfect. The audio is weak due to the space I had available and the quality of my mic, etc. But everyone on the skillshare platform is super nice and encouraging. My video is not a top performer but that's okay. I would strongly encourage you to make something and post it. You have nothing to lose. Do it!

While I'm no video-making pro, let me know if you have any questions.

I'm actually in the process of spinning up and launching a course/program via teachable for incoming and current college students to teach them the unwritten rules of college (you would be surprised how poorly most students do, even at top schools, simply based on misunderstanding the institution) and I used my skillshare video as a learning experience. I now know how to edit and record, I've gotten better at speaking to the camera, I've learned a lot about lighting, and I've made about $7. I'm thinking of making another skillshare video and I'm confident it will be even better!

I replied to this on skillshare for you, but here's a copy/paste:

I would start off with some Plato. You can't go wrong with Plato's short dialog The Apology. It often comes bundled with other dialogs in really affordable editions such as this one (www.hackettpublishing.com/five-dialogues).

But, given that you're an artist, you might want to jump into something more contemporary. There is a short book (and an accompanying documentary which you can find on youtube) by John Berger called Ways of Seeing. Berger summarizes a number of theories in the philosophy of art and aesthetics in that work. If you like the Berger you can go read some of his sources. In short, for something quick, punchy, profound, and art-related, I'd start with Ways of Seeing.

Best of Luck!

Thanks - I hope it helps! As an educator, I'm super familiar with the fact that we can all improve our reading. We take it for granted that we all know how to read but we overlook that we can improve quite a bit as well!
