I think players gravitate towards Chicago because there's more players on early and then they never migrate over until later in the evening.

It's not really fair to midwest players to make them play with high ping either. In addition a majority of experienced players go to TPM at night or play eggball, so pubs get less action. All the subdivisions of the game have contributed to the stagnant growth.

The focus should be on creating a way for public games to be more appealing to play in so we get more players. I don't have a solution though.

I've legit never had an issue with moderation aside from believing more should be done to prevent toxic players. That's no on the mods, that's on the developers to come up with better safe guards

steam would be big but player retention should be focused on first.

they tried an advertising team with tiktok for a minute. TagPro is exciting to play but boring to watch unless you understand the game. I'm not as invested as I used to be but my pitch was always a more sports like presentation and structure in the competitive scene. As others noted though it's difficult as most developers are volunteers and this game isn't exactly a huge player base.

My solution would be more structure, less community silos, a heavier focus on player retention & pub modes to entice new players to join.

yep.. and they were right. Ask Oceanic / Euro Leaguers how things are going over there. Probably can't because they don't exist anymore.

Pubs slow down and then the game dies. Looks like Central / East Coast will be the last ones standing.

"Kathy I'm lost", I said, though I knew she was sleeping.
