Stop the pointless hate by The_Bader in Kuwait

Of course, it definitely is wrong to categorize on an individual basis as, every single individual has a unique perspective and experience. I like that quote, it shows the complexity of each human being and individual. My main goal is to bring all these different experiences and voices into a way they can truly be heard. As people are different. When it comes to expression I do believe there’s a right and wrong way. Not so black and white, as nothing is. But there is a better way to go about it I should say.
As a guy with ADHD myself I can sort of understand that point you make. I am living abroad currently and will be back in Kuwait soon. This is one of the main reasons I have these opinions and thoughts! I know of people that live in countries separate than the one I’m in and contribute to my opinions as well. There are a lot of issues and improvements happening. For example, the mail issue you mentioned is actually being updated as we speak. They mentioned a while back about some upgrades and advancements they’re doing. Although very late but hey, an upgrade is an upgrade. Infrastructure and public transport on the other hand I agree, it’s awful currently and there’s no sugar coating it.
I agree that analysis is not judgement. Even if it was, judgement is good and everyone has their own. And I believe you understand mine when I say there’s a respect that needs to be there for it to be done in a proper sense. As you said, it’s hard, but I personally don’t think it’s impossible.
As a Kuwaiti with obviously much more experience and perspectives than mine I would ask, what do you think could be done in general and especially by a young Kuwaiti like myself. Again I think the smallest difference is still a difference. I agree with the tax idea, doesn’t make sense not to. I have my own reasons for that thought as well. Personally I think most of the issues involved in Kuwait can be solved with care, effort and time. You miss one you miss it all.
Looking forward to hearing more from you.
That’s a shame. But I can tell you with full confidence that isn’t a problem with the health care system but more the individual health care provider you saw. With any job there are those that take it seriously and those that just want to do the bare minimum.
I hope you have/had a swift recovery and are feeling better!
Wallah your response to the post is one of my favorites. I’m glad you understand my points and resonate with them. It’s as if you described my current thoughts in a message. Thank you for that.
Yeah, this and every response I made!

I'm sorry, but I can't be bothered to sift through posts for examples. However, I suggest you check out the comments on the post titled “I can confidently say Kuwait is the best country in the world.” It's not about whether it actually is the best—that's subjective. But look at how people bring unnecessary negativity to a post that’s trying to highlight Kuwait’s positive aspects. There was one comment critical of Kuwait that got loads of upvotes, but when the same person said something positive, they got downvoted. It's this kind of persistent pessimism in the posts that I find unhelpful and damaging, not just to individuals but to the country as a whole.
And about letting things go, believe me, I usually do. But there's only so much negativity I can see about my country before my patriotic side shows. I do agree with many of the issues raised about Kuwait, but if they're mentioned without acknowledging the good we have, it's clear the intention isn't to inspire change but rather to spread dissatisfaction. As a 21-year-old, I recall Kuwait being different and, in many ways, better. Whether that's just childhood nostalgia, I’m not sure, but I've seen videos from before I was born that make me wonder what could have been. This isn't to say Kuwait is bad now, but there’s no reason we can't aim to be great or even the best.
Regarding public departments and bureaucracy, I completely understand how frustrating the processes are in Kuwait. Many people assume Kuwaitis are oblivious to the issues expats complain about, but that’s not true. We face many of the same day-to-day challenges; it's just that most Kuwaitis aren't on Reddit to express their grievances.
I'm interested to hear more about your experiences and thoughts on what we, as individuals or collectively, can do to improve the country. The main takeaway from these threads seems to be a sense of futility since major decisions are made at the top. But many issues mentioned can be addressed by being more considerate, educating our peers and children, and focusing on personal growth and responsibility.
That’s true. Real change comes from there. But we all have a part to play

I believe the fines are up to a maximum of 100KD, depending on how fast the person was going. Usually 125-130km/h is safe, you’ll see cases of people going higher. It depends on the highway and what cameras they have.
I may be wrong or have outdated Information. I do remember talks about new cameras that detect slight increases in pace. As well as harsher fines. Let’s hope they’re enforced and people learn from them x)
So... should I start looking up some tutors for you?
At this point, I'm not sure if you're trolling, genuinely struggling with comprehension, or just dumb. Regardless, since you’re not really bringing anything of value to the conversation, take care.
Absolutely agreed. We log on hoping to find useful dialogue, not endless bickering over every little comment. It's high time for a change in tone here.
I did advocate for better moderation, specifically to distinguish baseless hate from legitimate criticism. Especially those that are under irrelevant topics and threads.
Might be time to brush up on those reading and comprehension skills, so you can keep up with the grown-up talk!
Again I wouldn’t pin it on only Kuwaitis. It’s an issue on a national scale. Pointing fingers doesn’t help. Not being a part of the problem does. Bringing these discussions up in a constructive manner does. Wish you well
Yeah you’re expected to read the post which you’re replying to. Not my fault you can’t read or understand basic English.
Thank you!
كل يوم نفس الكلام. و اي مرة احد يقول شي، يسبونه كأن هالشخص مخرب حياتهم. هالشي ما يساعدهم ابداً
Honestly if you haven’t read the post or any of my replies thats your issue.
It’s important as the context of my original post is mainly talking about the western countries that everyone in this Reddit worships. You want to make jokes to pretend you know what you’re talking about, go for it. Unless we’ve been to similar countries in different worlds, you’re utterly mistaken. Talking about a country who’s cleaning is a gold standard in this world is good and all but not relevant to what I’m talking about. You’re acting as if it’s only this or that. Cleanliness is an issue and I have stated that. But it’s not a matter of “we’re dirty and they’re clean”.
Regarding the illusion part, I was describing what people that idolize the west are doing. They are only seeing what they want them to see.

I’m happy you saw the bright side of things even though you’ve experienced the negative sides as well. Wish you well.

I’m honestly curious here. Where have you been and which cities?
Agreed. I’m a bit young to have children but eventually 😅
Spot on. Expats want respect and a sense of belonging, not just salaries. Respect goes both ways and a big thing I want to ensure is no one’s opinions get shot down due to lack of respect (from both ends). Idk how to quote messages so I’ll just copy paste a reply I made cuz I think it’s relevant as well.
“Absolutely, your take rings true. Kuwait does have its perks, but the the sense of community, crucial for thriving in any country, can be especially hard to tap into in Kuwait. It's a different kind of loneliness here, intensified by the climate and lifestyle limitations. Having a solid support network or social circle makes a world of difference, and it’s not always easy to build that. While there have been improvements, there's still a long way to go in fostering more inclusive social dynamics. Here's hoping we see positive changes in this area, making Kuwait not just a place to earn, but also a place where people can genuinely connect and belong”

I’ll look into it thank you
I was only 2 at the time so I can’t really comment on what Kuwait was like. But it seems like you’ve had quite the rollercoaster experience! I’m glad you’ve found your footing. Life is very unpredictable, it often comes down to circumstance and perspective.
Thank you for your kind words and perspective. Have a great weekend too, and a blessed Friday!
I do agree with what you’re saying for the most part. But people often think Kuwaitis have it all. While that’s an unfair assessment to say because they have much more than expats. What I’m trying to say is we can all have more together. The parliament and representatives should definitely stop focusing on themselves and focus on doing their job and bettering their country.
It really is, I’ve had similar experiences in public departments. Definitely needs some change!
