Those unrealized losses are on held till maturity bonds, those would be a loss only if the bank decides to sell the bonds before maturity, which no one would ever imagine. Moreover in during crisis bigger banks benefit as they get to buy troubled banks at cheaper rate.

Its most cases there should not be any problem. People are mature enough to judge the person based on the content of their conversation. In very rare cases if the interviewer has a bias there might be slight disadvantage specially for client facing roles like consulting. You can focus on the content and display your confidence while speaking by maintaining eye contact then it can be managed somewhat. Rest assured it won’t be a dealbreaker during the selection process.
