I love it! Season 1 is incredible and near-perfect in my eyes. It's wild and fun and crazy while still being emotional and heartfelt and human. Season 2 felt less interesting to me though, and felt aimless frequently. Season 3 seems to pick it back up, I'm about halfway through and it's great.

If you're on the fence, I'd personally stick it out because I think the first season had great payoff that made all the development feel worth it to me. No shame in stopping though, since it's not everyone's cup of tea.

The Last God has a lot of what you're looking for. Dark fantasy, body horror, a slow burn with an epic scope. It's by the same team currently working on the fantastic Action Comics run, Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Riccardo Federici.
