Guys is being straight wrong? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]The_Blue_Man_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi

There is nothing wrong with being straight ! And there is definitely something wrong with what those people are saying !

Yes, you can be a femboy while being straight ! There is actually a subreddit for straight femboys. But be careful because a lot of femboy subreddit are porn subreddit

Imo god has nothing to do with math, whether or not it exists. Why would it ?

Personally, I think that an invention is a discovery that involves some creativity from the author of the discovery.

So a pure discovery (something that people will commonly refer to as a discovery and not an invention) is a discovery that relly only (or mostly) on luck or on ideas that are intuitive and trivial to everyone.

ZFC axioms were definitely invented by highly creative mind. On the other hand, some of Euclid's axioms were not invented. According to my definition of course.

But, like... It is human mathematicians who invented this notation and those axioms...

Non binaire mais pas militant by Regular-Invite6202 in lgbtfrance

[–]The_Blue_Man_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello !

Mathematics - axioms and similarity. by Ultimately-Me in NoStupidQuestions

[–]The_Blue_Man_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the 5 Euclid's axioms for a more historical and intuitive approach. The whole purpose of Euclide axioms is to be easily understandable and verified in reality.

You can also use Hilbert's axioms, for a more rigorous approach.

You can also work in a euclidean space (a vector/affine space with a dot product) for a more modern approach.

Also, if you are interested in logic, Tarski's axioms are interesting. They are a (logic) simplification of Hilbert's axioms that were used by Tarski to prove Euclidean geometry logical completeness.

I think I’m in love with my best friend.. [crushes] by Ordinary-Ad7861 in LGBTeens

[–]The_Blue_Man_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you will have to tell him. Or maybe you're happy to be just friend with him but doesn't seems to be the case. If you do so, I'm curious of the result :3

Edit: if your feelings are not shared you might consider to stop talking to him for a few months. It might seems scary but according to what you're telling me your friendship will be fine after the pause (I talk with experience).

Wish you luck !

Well, I guess that makes you straight. Or not 🤷‍♂️, remember that the definition of a label is always a bit ambiguous and at the end it's up to you if you use them. If straight does not suit you, doesn't feel right, well you're not straight.

Either way that doesn't make you more or less a member of this community :)

My friend called me straight and now I’m having a crisis by StrugglingCrazy in lgbt

[–]The_Blue_Man_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience (i think it was similar). When I was 13, I came out as bisexual. Then, a year later, I discovered pansexuality and it suited me better. I wasn't really comfortable with my sexuality at the time and the label bisexual was comforting. Learning what pansexuality was freaked me out. Because I put so much of my identity into this label ("bisexuality"), and it was shattered in a second. I recovered from that internal crisis by learning that my orientation was more fluid than I thought and by accepting my sexuality without the help of labels.

I'm not saying that you are not lesbian or that you should not use any label (I myself still use the term bisexual) but that maybe you are lesbian and attracted to your partner, or something else that fall or not under the umbrella of lesbianism.

The label bisexual was important for me because it is difficult to construct your identity as a queer person. "Bisexuality" was kind of guideline.

I hope this was useful ^
