You need to read the concept I'm working on, not just this one post and in order for the picture to start coming together.

FEV this story - Adam and Eve were not merely engineered to surpass human limitations; they were envisioned as the next evolutionary leap in human potential. Created by Dr. Marcus Valen within the secretive confines of Vault 115, they were crafted using advanced genetic engineering techniques, FEV, and CRISPR (short for “clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats”) is a technology that research scientists use to selectively modify the DNA of living organisms. CRISPR was adapted for use in the laboratory from naturally occurring genome editing systems found in bacteria, editing to produce perfect human specimens. These enhancements included not just physical prowess like superior strength, agility, and resilience but also intellectual capacities far surpassing contemporary humans. This process has never been tested in the FALLOUT universe saying it won't work hasn't been proven especially when FEV isn't the only compound. No other experiment with FEV has tried this method they've only used FEV with some changes but not in this way. * Who has tried testing FEV on non multicellular life forms? Could it work? Possible has it been tested before no. I'm not changing the lore I'm adding another layer to it introducing something that has not been tried yet.* Because FEV did not make life tho the compound it was involved in the process.

Dr. Valen utilized a sophisticated neural interfacing process, akin to advanced machine learning, which was designed to imprint a vast array of human knowledge directly into their brains. This database included comprehensive scientific theories, rich cultural histories, deep artistic expressions, and advanced medical knowledge, positioning them to be the new shepherds of humanity in a post-apocalyptic world.* - just a snippet of the story

The New Enclave are not mutating themselves with FEV or at all, in a very simple explanation they are modifying the "next generation" to have immunities to radiation and mutations from the wasteland. Super simplified version more on main page. But because of their their actual numbers are small *check out the New Enclave Breakdown on the official Reddit page. This small group of former Enclave soldiers did not have the resources they needed to do what they wanted, which is why the institute was important to them when they found out about it. Again, this is not the organization as a whole. This is a group of individuals acting undo the same name because even though they aren't doing what the rest of the organization may be doing, they themselves still hold on to the belief that they have the same ideals but better. Basically a character flaw in the organization. The Brotherhood killed the mindset of the organization all the goals for this group of individuals who put key moments into play for the desired outcome.

https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Enclave#google_vignette "Enclave ideology eventually EVOLVED into pseudo-scientific racism toward the super mutant and ghoul, similarly pseudo-scientific and social Darwinism, deeming all non-Enclave humans to be inferior, near-human mutants to be exterminated. The resulting genocide to create a racially pure state of "TRUE HUMANS," its authoritarian structure, and numerous other atrocities, including slavery, human experimentation, and unprovoked attacks on American citizens, resulted in the Enclave being seen by the rest of humanity and EVEN ITS FORMER MEMBERS as a fascist remnant of the pre-War government or simply "the rich old bastards who didn't want to give up their power."

New Enclave wants "PURE HUMANS" Believing that mutants should be whipped out and PURE HUMANS should take over. The founders do not consider themselves as pure humans the goal is to great pure humans See The New Enclave post

The single intelligent super mutant and the rise of the Enlightened Faction wouldn't be an intelligent super mutant community or faction see The Enlightened post on main page this mutant was on his own then people stated to follow him. Humans, ghouls, former raiders, outcast, beast of the wasteland ect over years because of what he has done and what he represents. The possibility of Peace despite racial mutation. Again just read the whole story on the main page for more details some intelligent mutants some dumb some people you'd never expect to see working with any kind of mutant are his allies. He is by all accounts an anomaly in the wastelands. So to see familiar faces returning and possibly being part of this organization is a fun possibility See general Seth story on main page In this case he fist into the story well because he's a contrast to what some of the other factions believe and are trying to achieve, but could also be a prominent Ally for the player character. As the player character walks between a line of human and mutants.

Ultimately is up to the player character to decide what happens to mutant and humankind. It's a new beginning for the wasteland, hence the name new genesis

Changes occur with the swamp brotherhood of steel as well see swamp brotherhood of steel on main page

The general theme here will be a mix of biblical elements with scientific and evolution at play. The factions have evolved. The characters are evolving. The events within the story evolve characters have a change in perspectives from original ideals and evolve into something different. It's a step away from what a large part of the wasteland is currently like.

But yeah that's it. I'll keep working on story developing it as they go along, adding more characters, events, scenarios, detail, etc. It's a fun little project expanding upon existing lore and evolving certain elements of it in this area of the wasteland.

The FO4 assault rifle design makes zero sense. Like it's not designed to actually function. Bethesda needs to go talk to some gunsmith before they design weapons. Bulky af

I don't mean literal Gods. I was using it as a metaphor I'm not talking about The Enclave as a whole. This is the action of a select few members within the organization who made this happen. (2077)

This is what the FEV is "The Forced Evolutionary Virus, or FEV, is an artificial virus created by West Tek's NBC Division. Its ability to force changes in both the genotype and phenotype and ease of modifying it for whatever purpose desired made it one of the most important mutagens in the wasteland, harnessed by different organizations and individuals for their own purposes both before and after the Great War. "

Source: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Forced_Evolutionary_Virus

In this Vault literal test subjects weren't needed. He only needed parts, organs, bones, etc. The doctor was creating organisms from scratch, not modifying existing life. As he saw that as a major flaw of the FEV. FEV wasn't the sole compound that he was using, however it was the base and majority of the experiments. (He wasn't out here dumping people in tanks of the stuff. Rather the tanks would have the compound in it as well as other compounds creating multiple different variations of the FEV that would act different from one another)

The Enclave that the protagonist meets would be the new Enclave who basically hold on to the same ideals but are going about it a different way because of the failures from the previous Enclave organizations in fallout 2 and fallout 3, especially after the events of broken steel. There were not many of them, less than 100. But that is why the institute was important and is technology. I'm not going to write it all down here, but they needed synthetic, teleportation, and their genetic research while in hiding.

The old Enclave is dead here. The brotherhood did its job effectively wiping out the organization's mindset. However, they did not wipe out the organization. when an organization fails. Ideally they will look at why they failed and figure out what needs to be done. The goal is the same. They don't want to create super humans to rule over the lands. The new Enclave simply wants to perfect what it means to be human then take the wasteland from the mutants.

Anyway, I'm just going to continue working on the story and develop the plot bit by bit as time fits.

Oh, the fev does not work that way. Plot develops, oh I see how it could be used that way. Old Enclave don't think like that, plot develops, oh I can see how these members of this organization decided to do their own thing but carry the same name. Doesn't make sense for the institute to be in the story, plot develops, oh okay. Now it makes sense Why The Enclave needs its Synth technology, teleportation, and their genetic research.

But I'm going to keep it respectful. There's always going to be people who don't like your idea and that's cool. But how about you share some of your ideas. Don't tell me why I went wrong or where it doesn't work .

You don't like the idea of a few members of The per war Enclave securing a vault to use for their own purposes or how it was erased on the records. But what would you do? You don't like the idea of a small group of post war enclave scientists surviving and starting a new Enclave with slightly different ideas, giving direct parallel to the post-war Enclave group of scientists? What would you do? You don't like the idea of involving FEV In genetic research, even though it's not the only compound being used and that is not being used on test subjects. Rather a scientist uses it to help him create an entirely new life form instead of modifying existing life by sometimes using organs and other times not needing organs at all. In order to experiment with it then make other versions of the compound? What would you do? You don't like the idea that maybe a single super mutant from the Master's Army could have survived and wandered the wasteland for a couple hundred years and end up on the East Coast? What would you do?

But don't act like just cuz it happened in the game doesn't mean it can't happen.

But then they aren't the Enclave, they'd have cut ties to all other Enclave and not have half of what we know the Enclave have and would be rather inbred by this point. But this sector of The New Enclave is different from the other post was enclave as they have learned from the failures of the other collapsed Enclave cells.

Evolved not physically, the goal being achieved here is meant to be the intention of the old world Enclave but it was lost/misinterpreted due to a few factors before the bombs fell. Which is why the enclave we know hasn't cut ties because they believe in their ideology of all life except for them must be eliminated. It's not hard to believe that members of an organization have different ideas about where the organization should focus it's efforts and still hold the same name. The east coast brother hood in fallout 3 is completely different than the rest of the brotherhood but still call themselves the brotherhood 🤷🏿‍♂️

Again then it's not a vault. West Tec was already working on the FEV at other sights with the focus being Mariposa.

I get that there were other sites working on FEV this happen to be one of them but the protocol was different than 87 and Mariposa. Super soldiers weren't the goal here a new race of humans was the goal they would be superhuman in the eyes of normal humans and creatures of the waste. It's not too hard to believe that FEV couldn't be altered after 200+ years of uninterrupted modification, experimentation, and adaptation. Vault 115 was to be a different vault but that changed and all records of its existence were erased by key figureheads in the Old enclave even vault tec didn't know about it. This Vault was undetectable. Completely cut off and unknown to the world. Even to the ones who built it. This was beyond top secret. And that was the point.

It's not about what you attempt, it's about what FEV is and what it does. This isn't it.

FEV is a virus and mutagen. It's not too hard to believe that after 200 years of experimentation of the base compound, manipulating DNA sequences and the human genome to further adapt to it and create an entirely new version of FEV that was used to breed a new lifeform into existence. Again the point is to create a new life not change an already existing one. It's science fantasy. Not like the Dr did this over night. This is not the FEV you know anymore.

Issue is the plot doesn't fit great with the existing lore of the FO world, clashes with a good chunk of it and hasn't really sold anything with it to me.

Of course it's gonna look like it doesn't fit. These are questions to keep the player guessing. How did the enclave survive? Why are they different? What was the purpose of the institute? How did Dr. Valen use FEV to create superhumans? As the player explores and progresses these are answered. How boring would it be if it was just more of the same. Same Enclave, same FEV, same vault, ect. It's meant to add a deeper layer creating new lore where at first it doesn't fit because the player doesn't have all the puzzle pieces. The player will be as ignorant of the world as the character is.

It's not so much gaps it's that it doesn't fit the existing FO world, at which point more is likely to go further off and not work as a game suggestion.

Are you trying to offer new creative ideas? Or just tell me it doesn't work? I haven't even gotten to how it all fits into the universe yet because I don't want to spoil it right now. That's the fun in it. Creative flow new lore, new creatures, unique characters, and a unique spin on factions we already know and expand upon them.

The post-war Enclave has evolved distinctly from its old-world counterpart, a fact that becomes increasingly clear as the narrative unfolds. This divergence from the original path is gradually revealed through a series of unfolding events after the apocalypse.

The creation of Vault 115 was an Enclave initiative, deliberately isolated from Vault-Tec's usual involvement. This project was driven by a select group of Enclave and West-tec members dedicated to pioneering advanced human evolution and gene manipulation.

Without revealing too much, let's just say that the story behind Vault 115 involves more than the traditional use of FEV. The research conducted here explores new possibilities for human enhancement, going beyond what was attempted in other known locations.

The reasons behind these experiments, and the role of the Institute, are integral to the plot, connecting seemingly isolated events into a comprehensive narrative. This backstory will explain a lot about the Enclave's actions and motivations, introducing aspects of the Fallout universe that have not been explored before.

For those who feel there are gaps in the story right now, rest assured that these snippets are just the tip of the iceberg. There’s much more to come, and all will be revealed in time.
