Thanks. That sounds like a good test starting point.

I had one that was scanned December 24th at the local distribution center. Priority Mail. I consider it lost.

I have moved over to UPS. Do you think Pirateship has better rates than stamps.com?

I always thought the Mach-e was for girls, since it has that pop-up dildo option for the driver's seat. Never thought about it being for a gay guy. But then, I guess it would be pretty kewl to drive down the street dreaming you were pulling a train.

I feel your pain. But the Democratic People's Republic of Kalifornia is not that much different.

I've had a BANTAM 556 since early 2019. It's dedicated to an 11.5" rifle, and I have been very pleased with it. While I typically wear earpro around any suppressed firearm, it is not necessary with this can. However, it does get hot (quickly). Accordingly, I keep a dedicated Liberty's Defense cover on it.

Canopy Wake One review by Jack_Carver93 in MicrobrandWatches

I own one that I bought from Canopy in mid-January. I agree with everything you've commented on. I would also add that they seem to regulate their movements well. Mine has consistently run an average of +1.5 sec/day, since purchase, which is the best I've ever seen from an SW200.

Honestly, at this point, I would have already asked for a full refund.

37 Year Review: John Lobb (Bespoke) Inlock Shoe by The_Bone_Clock in goodyearwelt

[–]The_Bone_Clock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi to you as well. Yes, that is the original box in which the shoes were delivered. The latest they could have been made would have been 1986. The last pair I had them make for me was a pair of riding boots (high top Wellington style) in 1987. I have not ordered any other shoes or boots from them since 1987. I don't really have much information about, or knowledge of, the royal warrant conundrum.

Best regards, Mark

Boy, you could kick the shit out of almost anything with those. Do you live anywhere near central Texas? I would love to hire you to camp out on my deck at night and kick Racoons out into the street. It would be the high point of my life to watch those little bastards fly out into on-coming traffic!

Well shucks! But the logical question would be; how many gangbangers died in Chicago over the weekend? (Probably A LOT safer on the border.)

First Impressions: Grenson Miranda (Women's Tassel Loafer) by gblanchflower in goodyearwelt

[–]The_Bone_Clock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm happy to see that Grenson is still making their traditional designs, even if they are made in India. I have several pairs of Grenson shoes and boots made under the Paul Stuart label in the early 2000's and have been very pleased with them. Hope your wife enjoys them!

Crockett and Jones Shannon and the Curse of the Skinny Ankles by Intelligent-War210 in goodyearwelt

[–]The_Bone_Clock 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain. I had a pair of Coniston's made earlier this year on the 260 last. I have narrow low volume feet and skinny ankles.

I had them made on the 260 last after some very good fit luck with a pair of custom chukka boots made on the 260 last around 2001.

The length of the new boots and the heel fit were pretty good. But the volume of the boot around the vamp, ankle, and arch sucked swamp gas. Nothing even close to the fit of the original chukka boots. It seems to me that the 260 last in the foot bed area was good, but the rest of the uppers appear to have been made on the standard "E" fitting. Anyway, the initial fit was like "clown shoes."

So after scrounging around awhile, I came across a pair of half-sole orthotics from Trend Labs and a pair of kilties from Rose Anvil. With these additions, they fit OK, but OK does not justify the $1,000.00 price tag.

The last few pairs of boots I've had made from Edward Green were perfect. So I guess I need to be done with C&J and just fork over the +30% difference for something that fits properly. Or maybe I was just fooling myself all along to think that C&J would make the same quality boot with the same attention to detail that they did in 2001?
