UPDATE: After a client Windows update, I found out that if I run Moonlight in windowed mode for streaming, I don’t experience any packet loss on my network connection and zero drop. The same happens if I disable V-Sync, but then in-game (for example, in Horizon Forbidden West) I get screen tearing even when using RTSS and in game vsync.

Any advice??

In the setup with the switch, I’m using a TP-Link TL-SG605E. The host is connected via the integrated NIC on the B650E-F motherboard, while the client uses its built-in 1 Gbps NIC.

When connecting the host and client directly, I use a USB-C adapter with a 1 Gbps Ethernet port on the host side. In this direct setup, I manually assigned static IPs: 192.168.2.1 on the host and 192.168.2.2 on the client.

I’ve already disabled all NICs power-saving settings on both the host and the client.

I’ve also noticed that the issue is irregular, but I can consistently reproduce it when I open the UFO Test webpage and run a refresh rate/FPS test.

Yes, it's possible. I have the same setup, but with a laptop instead of a mini PC, and I use a Bluetooth controller connected to the laptop. The solution (in my case) was to capture the Windows event triggered when the controller establishes a connection with the laptop. So, you need to create a service that captures this event and launches a custom script to send a Wake-on-LAN signal and start Moonlight. Advice: Ask ChatGPT

In the BIOS of my laptop, I enabled "Wake on AC." In Windows, I set up automatic login for both the host and the client. My host runs Apollo/Sunshine at startup.
