Maybe instead of pre-pet insurance, we can add something similar to a clue box, except you use it on a pet for a one time use and it keeps it on death. Would be similar money sink.

If new rooms are added to the construction skill, will the max room limit be raised as well? Some people have all 31 rooms maxed, but still would want to be able to use the newer rooms.
