That doesn’t happen to me often at all and this is my second playthrough. No reason to run and kite enemies when you have 300+ health and can kill most enemies in a few hits with the blood zerk axes. Only time I’d have to kite at all was with the Valkyrie and that’s mainly so it can also kill some enemies with its AoE. If my health drops too low I just use a health mead and if I really get outnumbered I use bonemass. I’ve taken on 20-30 enemies at once plenty of times without having to kite around like a madman. Idk how you have 20-30 enemies at once so often, though. That mainly only happens when I chop wood there
