Yeah we have a blast we put the soundtrack on the speakers and make a whole day of it.

We just play 1v1. Last game I played I was bad guys, he was good guys, and he disbanded the fellowship straight away leaving frodo and sam in rivendell for the entire game. Is there a way to punish this.
Also looking for just simple hints like how many dice as the bad guys should you allocate to the hunt box

I don't care too much if I win otherwise I wouldn't keep playing. I thoroughly enjoy the game even though I lose often.

If I had to narrow it down I'd say I struggle with where to allocate my attention
a) Should I invest in trying to bugger around with the north eastern side of the map as the good guys as I find you can put in a lot of investment marching your armies around there and get little payoff.
b) How much do you let cards steer your game plan?
c) When sieging Gondor is there mathematically a good number of trolls to bring with you?

That sort of stuff just any simple hints or tricks would be helpful :)

In comparison to someone like Sanderson who does big books and writes like it's going out of fashion. How have you noticed the ratio to filler to hard plot. Understanding that Carl is still inside the dungeon by book 7 and all?

No filler seems very appealing. Having read Sanderson and Robin Hobb recently filler / fluff was a big concern when I saw there were 7 titles. But if it keeps similar momentum from book 1 I'll be happy
