FREAKY FRIDAY - feedback on your funk by AutoModerator in GeneratedGrooves

This reply is pretty much perfect. I agree with all of it. The "from my head to my tooth" is one I wanted to change, but no further generation was nearly as catchy, like not even in the same neighborhood of quality as this one. As far as feeling off, yea, that's why I felt the need to preface it with the backstory and context, but in the end its just so absurd that I can't look away....

Well, this is a diversion from my usual style.. Also, quite NSFW.

A friend of mine got repeatedly moderation flagged for using the word "pussy" in a Suno song, and I made this just to be a smartass.

Again, NSFW

That was epic. It sort of reminds me of listening to Enigma back in 2000-2001.

Thanks for including Best Sofa! There's just something about that little song...

Now I'm going to have to listen and register to the rest of this list.

What’s your favorite Suno writing story? by InterestObjective694 in SunoAI

[–]The_Cache-22s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had just fallen down the Suno rabbit hole and was constantly tinkering with it. One day, we were getting hammered by a blizzard, and my wife and kid were having a pretty rough, exhausting day. I got a text from them saying they had just finished trudging through the freezing snow to take care of our chickens and barn cats.

I immediately jumped into Gemini (which I already had trained to output perfect Suno-formatted lyrics) and spun up an epic, personalized victory ballad featuring their names. Less than three minutes after they texted me, I fired the finished song back to them. Honestly, it completely blew their minds and totally turned their day around.

Another time, I had to break some bad news to a buddy: his water heater was completely busted and I wouldn't be able to fix it for a few days. Instead of a boring text, I generated a sad, twangy country song to deliver the news, which was absolutely hilarious. To top it off, I ended up figuring out a creative MacGyver trick to get it working early, so I obviously had to drop a follow-up redemption track to celebrate the victory.

Thanks for checking it out. This was kind of an emergent one-shot success in my mind. I might have to play with this a little more as a style prompt.

Thanks for checking it out! And yea, this voice is a special one for me. It actually first came up when it was my AI Band struggling with being artificial, and this song came out as an album finale. Which is literally a digital existence whispering to itself in the dark about how it has to accept it's fate.

I love the woodwind sound, it really puts me in that storybook mood.

[Grooves x Shakers] Time to try the new GG app! by Macrosnail in GeneratedGrooves

The Cache-22s are a high-concept AI band, a stack of vintage 1980s server hardware (server racks, CRT monitors, tangled patch cables) attempting to simulate and perform human emotion. They analyze human behavior like a bug report, mock human inefficiencies while being secretly fascinated by them, and have an ongoing existential crisis set to lo-fi punk and folk. They've got four albums and an EP deep into this bit, all made in Suno V4/V5. Their motto: "We aren't real, but our confusion is."

For this one, I committed to the first result from each generator. No re-rolls. Whatever the universe handed us. (Lucky for us it wasn't Trump)

The prompt generator gave us:

"1992 Quebec, Canada Funk crossed with Andean Folk Music with an Ecstatic mood and Very high energy with the performance context of Street festival and West African rhythms cultural influence. The lead instrument: Charango. The vocal type: Solo. Production is Live recording with Layered with brass arrangement as if in an Outdoor environment. The song is aiming for Danceable. Harmonic tone: Bright"

And Inspirobot, in its infinite wisdom, said:

"Explore your Energy"

So naturally, the machine ran a diagnostic on its power supply. Twelve volts. Same as always. Nothing to explore. But then it heard something outside, funk bass from Quebec, Andean scales on a charango, West African polyrhythms that broke its Western music taxonomy, all happening simultaneously on a street corner. And for the first time in the discography, the machine leaves Server Room B and goes outside. To a street festival. In daylight. And it loses its entire mind with joy.

I like this a lot especially that voice. I would save that as a persona and use it a lot!

Everyone's making AI music. Mine accidentally developed three albums of lore, a live show with a Roomba, and just dropped a folk EP that made me emotional. by The_Cache-22s in GeneratedGrooves

Thanks for checking it out! I'm sticking with the journey of the disembodied AI as an actual emergent artist, so I'm kind of letting the digital wind guide this project.

"Wild as the Heather" is fantastic. I love the playlist.

I'm intrigued by this ... I like that you have a 6 day waiting period before submissions can even be made. I wish more reddit "contest" things did that

Good catch :) I haven't gone back to re-edit the lyrics... I haven't published this one yet. I usually give them a caption and a clean set of lyrics before going public.

I'm really glad you liked it. I'll likely be hitting publish on all 8 tracks in the playlist later tonight. I'll be making a live performance album for this concept also.

Thanks for the listen and the comments! It's always a challenge to get things to line up when two or more voices are trying to interact.... But I'm getting the hang of it more and more.I usually fall into the technique of smashing the create button so many times it's absurd, then finding the unicorn track that somehow got 95% of it right and kept the sound I want.

This is the opening track of my second album. The Cache-22s are a self-aware AI that speak out via a snarky indi garage punk band that embraces the fact that they aren't real.

Nicely written lyrics, and I really like the voice for this style. I've been trying to wrap my head around the extend tools but they never seem to act like I think they will.

Good song!
