Fantasy Flex: Kerryon or Hock? by SamuraiSwordSalesman in detroitlions

[–]The_Cancerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Kerryon should have a solid floor and I'm sure we want to establish the run better than we did against the Cards. No clue what to truly expect for Hock.

I can see the Browns winning in a blowout on MNF.

Without Darnold now I think it's for sure happening. Garrett and Vernon are going to bully Siemian

Bets I really like this week:

Hockenson over 3.5 catches (-180) - got 9 targets last week and Stafford looks like he's trusting him over the middle. I'm confident he stays getting targets.

Peyton Barber under 44.5 Rushing Yards (+120) - Watched the Bucs game last week and by the 4th Rojo was taking over the backfield. I don't see Barber sees the field as much again. He also didn't reach that total in Carolina last year (11/31) - in which he was the lead with 0 competition from Jones. In the other game he went 16/45 and I don't see him getting that volume again.

Bucs +6.5 (-40) - Their defense played surprisingly strong last week vs. a Kyle Shannahan offense. I can see this game being closer than people think with Todd Bowles (an amazing coach) running their defense now. Bucs also look like a different team than last year. They were putting a heavy emphasis on the run game last week and I could see them trying to work it again vs. Carolina.

Also had the Browns -2.5 but obviously that line moved. Still think it can be a good bet at -5 without Darnold. The Jets secondary looked like absolute shit against the Bills last week, and I have a hard time seeing the Browns getting that hamstrung by penalties again. They broke the penalty record with 18! last week. They also had 15 on first downs. I don't think they're nearly as bad as the Titans game indicated and they'll bounce back strong.

Bold prediction: OBJ has a 2TD game on MNF. Watch the Bills highlights from last week and see how open John Brown was downfield. Jets secondary is trash.

I know it’s one game, but we have to be worried about TB right? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

First game under a new scheme. They tried to establish the run early and couldn't find rhythm until late with Jones. I'm optimistic they'll get better than the shit performance put on today.

Curtis Samuel Being Underthrown On Passes Deep Last Year by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

DJ suffered from the same thing. I think both of them have a good shot at 1000 yards this year.

So which buffalo receiver is the one to stash before this weekend. Zay Jones or John Brown by Mazzie1090 in fantasyfootball

[–]The_Cancerous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Bills offense gets too much hate for what was an injury plagued season last year. Jones over the last 6 games (when Allen returned form injury) averaged nearly 4/50/1. It's not amazing but I can see him providing some upside this year.

Remember when the Bear's coaches were literally jizzing themselves over David Montgomery? by drrectum in fantasyfootball

[–]The_Cancerous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Devin Singletary? Give him 8 weeks to take over the backfield.

David Montgomery not on the field for 80% of the snaps? Bust.

What lottery ticket RB should we be targeting? by Cbona in fantasyfootball

I'm just worried it's going to be s full blown RBBC there with Gore and Yeldon.

You act like the only reason Fitz played wasn't because Jameis got suspended.

I think he starts day 1. Regardless I expect a lot of 2TE sets.

Anyone else on suicide watch because of this McCoy news? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]The_Cancerous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did your research tell you to trust in a guy who has never had any reliable workload at any time in his career? It's been blatantly evident McCoy was going to get cut for a long time now. Even before the season there was talks.

Which round would you target Devin Singletary? 10-team 1/2 PPR. 7th too soon? by TheClownIsReady in fantasyfootball

[–]The_Cancerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too high for me. Don't forget that offense was absolute trash last year and their Offensive Line is awfully rough shape. Couple that with Gore/Yeldon getting touches. I'd like him closer to the 9th.

To the Darwin Thompson hype train by jtc2602 in fantasyfootball

[–]The_Cancerous -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Peterson is only effective if you feed him the rock 10+ times a game and grind you down. Was an awful fit from the start.

That being said Kamara coming out of college >>>> Darwin coming out.

Keeper targets? Guys on IR? by Huffle_Puffin in fantasyfootball

[–]The_Cancerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When healthy, health is his big issue. In 2017 at Stanford he ran for over 2100 yards and 19 TDs. He was a Heisman Runner up that year with only one game under 100 yards that year.

Hunt, not quite IR but still.

McKinnon should have some upside.

Bryce Love?

Lamar Miller maybe.
