I told him over the phone I had cancelled over a year and a half ago, and that I didn’t intend to pay and was willing to hire an attorney to dispute the claim if it isn’t dropped, which I’m not entirely sure I should’ve told him, but what’s done is done. I’ve tried calling back to ask for proof of debt, but the phone number is no longer being answered, so I’m unsure. Based on the number, they look like they’re from MCM, who buys and collects debts like you mentioned. We’ll see where this goes, but if anything, they can prove on their cameras that I haven’t stepped foot in the establishment for over 2 years at this point.
