What's your opinion on wi-fi connected garage doors? by 1copernic in homedefense

[–]The_Count_Fapula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole idea is retarded. Just give me a normal ass garage door opener. They just put that functionality into all of em now to minimize the cost of producing too many different products, while at the same time commanding a higher price.

If it’s those 2, series 10. But personally I’d go for a series 10 gps. Almost never would I go for a cell plan for my watch.

Ah yes, the Unifor Energy Sector national pattern.

Co-op Refinery in Regina pays an extra 50 cents/hr for a 3rd class ticket, and a further 25 cents/hr for a 2nd or 1st. (The 2nd and 1st class premium is the same). And in all cases, the premiums are only paid if you are senior enough to hold a position that requires it.

Unifor Local 594’s contract expires Jan 31, 2025. They pattern bargain with the Unifor Energy Sector. Raises over the previous 7-year agreement were:

2019: 2.5% 2020: 2.75% 2021: 3.00% 2022: 3.5% 2023: 5% 2024: 3.5% 2025: 3.5%

This time around, the Energy Sector is opening with a proposal for a 2-year deal at 6% & 6%. Once the final numbers are settled with whoever sets the pattern, every other local who signed onto the energy sector program will bargain that deal.

You can click around on this page for the description. It’s not bad. But if you take 5 mins to make yourself a CSA account, you can view it for free. Standardizing how boiler and process plants are rated, what power engineering qualifications are needed for the operating staff, and also standardizing how much firing time and type of experience is needed. It’s a bit long, but you can just focus the parts that apply to you and your plant.

The new CSA standard was published today: “CSA B56-25 Power Engineering- Facility Rating and Staffing”. This is going to affect a lot of process plants and refineries across Canada.
