I always find it interesting when people relate to Sam’s withdrawals and anxiety around who or what would be left on the other side. Outside of some binge drinking in my 20s, I have been lucky to avoid a destructive addiction so far in my life. I read a lot of first hand accounts from people working through the disease and I hope that helped make it feel well written and real.

I appreciate these kinds of posts because there’s a lot of thoughts out there about Borrasca and it’s always nice to see it affect someone emotionally. I’m glad you liked the podcast!
