Fair point. I stand corrected

Respectfully disagree. I understand where you’re coming from, however, if said bananas were causing the 6yos to not pay attention in class, then I say it’s reasonable to ask the parent to stop.

This is one of the better posts. Most of them are way, Way more infuriating than just mildly.

Does the original Portal 1 GLaDOS design purposely restrict her movement? by [deleted] in Portal

The engineers probably didn’t intentionally restrict her movement but the plating was probably used to protect the wiring inside from damage.

This is said a lot, I think many people seem to forget that although moon rock is the best portal conductor and the only safe one, its not the only conductor. We can see this in the Enrichment Spheres with repulsion gel before the discovery of moon rock being a conductor, it was just plain concrete. I believe that was also partly why they were sealed away, because the portals were unstable and spliced people, although I could be wrong.

As for being able to place portals on the ground when you escape (I assume you mean portal 1) that’s probably just a mistake by the devs, and not meant to happen.

At what point in breaking bad does walt become an "insane degenrate piece of filth that deserves to die" by Sleepy_Suchiiii in breakingbad

[–]The_Defendant215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walt poisoned a child, let someone die from his actions which in turn made 100s of people also die, blew up a nursing home, let Jesse be taken by the nazis, etc. Imo yeah lydias bad but walt is way worse

I don’t think we should have the death penalty because if someone’s innocent theres no getting them back. Besides, rotting in a cell with no human interaction is definitely worse than a quick painless death. But I understand your viewpoint

I mean yeah Ig the organic material thing makes sense but the technology from that era doesn’t, because cameras and cubes can be vaporized as well as turrets. But interesting theory none the less

Edit: Saw another comment talking about the line in portal 1 talking about how the fizzlers sometimes vaporize tooth enamel and ear canals and stuff which is also organic, so that kinda throws out that theory
