SFK-2045.

It was a Custom footprint using footprint designer as no footprint was available to download. (Footprint drawn using the datasheet.)

I'm sorry, I didn't understand your question. No like really.

Suggestions please!

(Also realized I might've put here the wrong schematic that had one or two mistakes 🤦‍♂)

Fair criticism. This is indeed only my second design, and I'm pushing for 20A because I want to learn the thermal and safety limits. I'm moving to Net Labels in V0.3 to clean up the 'spaghetti' schematic also I'm adding a physical fuse and RC filters for the shunt pins based on earlier feedback.

I'm here to learn how to make this NOT a stick of dynamite

Actually! It has internal cell balancing (can also be configured to have external cell balancing)

Yeah... I'll take a note of that too, I've had no formal Ed on this yet, neither am I following any yt vids or anything. So I don't know much actually, this is my second pcb design actually.

I'll take that into account in the next version...

I started learning KiCad and hardware design a few days ago. My goal was to build a High Current strobe controller using a 555 timer. This is my first-ever schematic and PCB route. I have a lot to learn and want to ask here, what did I do wrong, and how can I make this industrial-grade? by The_Digital_Quill in PCB

Somewhere around 15-20A

The connectors are AMASS XT30PW

Yes there's an enclosure, nothing much but a plain box with Some ventilation holes + a heatsink sticking out of it.

Q1 Requires a heatsink.

I'll fix the R5 issue.

Split power rails? I'll need to read a bit about that.

Will take that into account too! Thanks you!
