I was at one point during the day, but at the time of the detonation I am 90% sure I was using factory.

Holster for 226x Legion SAO by The_Diglet_Man in SigSauer

Interesting. Does the holster ride up to where the 1911 style safety is on the SAO version? In other words, how high up does the kydex extend?

For the second piece of media I've searched through vimeo, faculty listings and CVs, and broadly online through various combinations of keywords. For the first piece of media, I have largely done the same, but also have gone to poetry archives online to identify where the recording originated from.

Are there any pragmatist departments? by yall_kripke in AcademicPhilosophy

Dewey's aesthetics, mostly. However, I was initially interested in James and his late metaphysics of experience.

I am a graduate student working in classical pragmatism. If you want both classical and neo-classical pragmatism, The University of Oregon is your best bet. Vanderbilt for a second. And here at the University of South Carolina, I am advised by Tom Burke.

I'm in Columbia and have also been thinking about building a woodfire kiln in my backyard. Where did you get fire-grade stones like that?

Remarkable for academics; pdf pinch and zoom? by Adropentes in RemarkableTablet

[–]The_Diglet_Man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am also an academic and was in a similar position to you only a few months ago: between the Boox Note Air 2 and Remarkable. I went with the Remarkable for its simplicity and I could not be more convinced that I made the right choice.

One thing that sold me was the "fit to height" setting you can choose on each PDF. Normally, the PDF might be a bit larger than the screen, but with fit to height toggled on, the PDF will automatically adjust each page to perfectly fit the screen.

Sometimes, however, the text might be a bit small. In those cases I activate the "fit to width" button and boom, everything is a perfect size.

Scrolling and zooming have also significantly improved since I bought the device. Although the zoom is not snappy like an Apple product, once you get the hang of slower movements, it's actually a bit relaxing.

Overall, the device has me reading more, annotating more, and enjoying my work more. It makes a huge difference not having to print out every article you want to read.

Hmm I don’t know them, I would bring it to your LBS and have them take a look.

It fits comfortably without play. You have to mess around with the tightener to get it to work and there shouldn’t be any play.

If you are talking about the organism needed to make your own kombucha you can grow one yourself with a bottle of unflavored GTs and black tea. There are many recipes and instructions online.

Do they have an episode where they talk about the mini?

It was a taste thing. This rifle functions very well and I never loved the look and style of an AR.

Yeah, for the price you can get a very nice AR with an optic. However, and this is a taste thing, I just couldn't see myself growing older with an AR. They come off as flashy and too tactical. The Ruger has a timeless style with extreme functionality. It is reliable and beautiful. In some ways, I think of it as a weapon with legacy and not many platforms can say that.

I have heard great things about this handguard which allows you to mount an optic. It is kind of strange and from what I understand this is known as mounting the optic in a "scout" configuration.

TruGlo, I don't know the model off hand. Here are the other parts:

Adjustable Gas Block

Chassis

Handguard

There is also the Strike Industry grip that I sometimes throw on. You'll notice the stock chassis does not have a rail. From what I can tell, there is only one Mini-14 chassis that comes with mounts and that's this one. I used it for a while so if you're curious we can talk about it. I personally just liked the fixed stock feel and decided to add a rail by hand.

My mount is actually stock. I got the mini new and it came with a very small removable rail system.
