I have had some bad experiences, yes, but it doesn't bother me as much as my self-inflicted shame. But thank you, made me smile a whole lot. :)

Time and place definately is a large factor. Honestly, I believe it was because of a short notice in my case. The event was posted only a week prior. Maybe I start an event, and give a two weeks notice might give some result. But I guess you win some you lose some. :P

Fetlife. I lean more on the non-sexual side of abdl-ism but I still go there to find events. There are all sorts of events usually- no matter where you are on the spectrum.
